hey guys those who are planning to buy htc desire 816 or any other phone it would be nice if u buy frm sangeetha mobile store..they r celebrating their 40th anniversary so they are givng gifts worth rs 3500 wid the device..i bought the htc desire816 frm sangeetha store in bangalore at the price of 22300 and along wid the device i got 1yr extended warranty + 1yr insurance+bluetooth+1500mah power bank...and the phone is awsumm..

After reading all the opinions of the HTC Desire 816 Family users....came to a conculsion that this is an OVERALL BEST PACKAGE....CHEERS HTC....HURRAYYYYYYY........!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gonna buy it soon....looking for cheapest price( by the way Flipkart is a thief)

Hi guys I have got HTC desire 816 today in Chandigarh, India. For me it's very good phone till now. Earlier I was confused between desire and grand 2. And finally I got this and I'm very happy with my choice. Screen is fantastic, nice build quality. Touch is very nice and fast. Lock button must be at right side. Sound quality is good. Camera is fantastic. I recorded fast hd video at 60 fps and slow motion video at 120 fps. Audio recorded is stereo. Pictures taken are sharp and contain details. It is dual SIM and requires nano SIM. Till now it has performed very well. Some apps are not compatible with android 4.4.2. Some apps can be transferred to sd card. It's a very nice phone. I haven't checked battery yet but I think battery backup will be good. This device don't have builtin file manager. The problem is that you cannot delete data from sd card using any other downloaded file manager. This is due to the security feature of android 4.4.2. But still I like this device very much. The fact is that no other device has features like HTC desire 816 at this price.

i m totally confused b/w grnd 2 or desire.. desire 816 is gorilla glass nd what is d brightness problem or any problem bcoz grand2 has some problem ??
