Anonymous, 29 May 2014Old chipset poor performance battery drains vry fast don... morethats precisely how samsung fools indians to buy their phones......advertising like hell...so that people only remember their brand .......
....note 2...worst performance of the lot....tmdespite so much ram and processing power.. it sucks ...touchwiz lags like hell...i am a note 2 owner..but had to sell it when the phone failed to load the contacts and other things......t2 ultra is decent but sony software is very buggy..its flagship z2 has app crashes regularly... ..
moto x and nexus 4 are good...but its not people are looking for....people who want phablets dont buy these......htc desire 816 is the ALTERNATIVE to grand 2...... if nexus 4 and moto x were qhat people were after why people buy grand 2 then....bcoz tgey need big screens........

Still not sure wether to go for it or not:
1.Its 5.5" display is certainly a pleasing experience for gaming, videos and web browsing but in todays fast life you need a phone which you can keep in pocket quite easily and the one which you could operate single handedly without the fear of losing control and dropping it as changing screens is way too costly and troublesome.
2.In India, native 3G video calling is still prevalent. This phone doesnt support that.Means you will have to be dependent on applications like skype, hangout etc to make a video call and if the person at the other side is not very conversant with web/internet ,you wont be able to make a VC with them.As far as my knowledge goes Samsung phones support native video calling and pre windows era Nokia phones also supported this. However the upcoming LG G2 mini is also supposed to have a support for native 3G VC.
These are just some of the practical things associated with this phone which some may not agree and scoff at.But I guess I need to check other options too before going for it.
