Thanks Anurag for clarifications,
Was kind of suspicious since I compared 816 with LG G2 pro which was correctly showing Qualcomm Processor & Qualcomm chip-set. Though both brands mention Qualcomm Snapdragon processor over the pack.

AnonD-268158, 28 May 2014Yesterday I had chance to handle 816 at Croma & install... moreAs per www.qualcomm.com site, Snapdragon 400 family of processor means any one of these:
1. Quad ARM® Cortex™ A7 CPU at up to 1.6GHz per core
2. Dual core Krait 300 CPU at up to 1.7GHz per core
3. Dual core Krait 200 CPU at up to 1.2GHz per core
So HTC is not fooling us, Cortex A-7 is indeed Snapdragon 400!

Yesterday I had chance to handle 816 at Croma & installed CPU-Z application into it.
The processor is Cortex ARM processor, vendor is Qualcomm & not Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 as mentioned by HTC. Sounds like HTC is fooling people.

Hey guys...a small tip...for people who find the internal memory less...do this
1.uninstall any 3rd party apps...like google chrome...no problem as htc browser is better than chrome...it supports more files...live streaming and more cleaner ....uninstall polaris office and any useless apps u feel...if it cant be installed ... Remove all updates or delete them...that option comes in the same page for deleting apps....this should help to some extent...
2. I found the battery life pretty good...but if u wanna last the device more...disable blinkfeed...its makes a whole 20-25% increase....i hav testes it myself.....
Cheers...enjoy ur htc desire 816...

AnonD-268081, 27 May 2014boss does it have 1.5gb ram or bit lesser and one thing how... moreIt has 1.5 gb ram....the os takes up 350-400 mb...which i think is pretty good...considering my note 2 taking up 550mb....which was filled with bloated apps....getting 1.1 gb ram for usage is good...sense 6 is heavily optimized and is just super fast...infact i find very less difference betweem my m8 and desire 816....except if u hav opened...3-4 heavy games and browser and music in the background.......this device is really very good...revommended
