I purchased last week HTC Dsire 816 is superb phone and is looking also very beautiful, screen touch also very smooth and very good, I am giving marks 100 of 100. I have no word for this phone because this cheap and best.

and did u tested the battry life..?? - No, but for moderate use so far it looks ok.
What abt OTG/External Hard disc/MHL/NFC supprts....??
As per configuration on box : 128 GB External card, but I am using class 10 - 16GB Card.
No NFC support.
Instead of MHL, option is to use HTC Connect.

wifi : Good
3G data speed : Bit slow, but this may be due to network, not sure.
Camera Quality : Good
GSM mentioned that it volume rocker and power buttons looks cheap Is it so ?: In my opinion phone build quality is good, back panel to attract figure prints as mentioned by all review site.
I also like the position of the power and volume button, because considering the size of phablet generally we hold device by left hand and use right hand for actions on device.
Overall its a good device.

Awesome phone, better then Grand and T2 Ultra
Indian version is dual sim(3G and 2G) No 4G,NO NFC, Running on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 and HTC Sense 6. Flip Cover additional if you buy it from HTC Store.
Available colors are : White, Orange and Dark Gray
