Hi guys...
after updating my device to lollipop 5.0.2 here is my clear information about the device...
Pros..
1 better app switching
2 gallery app is awesome
3 blink feed some other things like htc sense and service pack some what looking good...
Cons...
1 battery drains faster
2 device getting over heated
3 internal user available memory decreased to 1.8 gb
4 device hanging is high
5 data connectivity issues
6 power saving mode automatically disabled when we connect a charger
7 when making a call screen goes blank..
8 if mobile battery comes to 10%.. within few seconds battery is showing 0% And phone is turning off
9 need to charge mobile about 3-4 hrs continuously to full charge the device....
10 Lot many buggs htc should take care of this update...
Guys wait for a new update please don't update your device to lollipop it's completely bullshit....

can any1 tell me that htc desire 816 is available in the market or if available so it is pin packed i mean 2 say brand new or not?

i don't know what to do buy sony xperia t2 ultra or htc desire 816 i see that the desire 816 have specifications greater than t2 ultra but the comments on 816 says it is a bad mob but in t2 ultra they said it is the great mobile.........etc plz tell me what to do and thx

jai, 17 May 2015m in bit of confusion wether to take htc desire 820s or sam... moreI own both phone,S4 and HTC desire 816D, HTC 816 with 1.5 GB Ram works faster than S4.

kumar, 27 May 2015updated my htc desire 816 to lollipop,start the problem app... moreBefore upgrading the OS reset ur phone.Setting->Backup&Reset->Reset Phone.Since already u have upgraded ur android version then u need to take the backup of all ur phone's memory data then perform the quick reset from setting.After that the space will become available for u.

One of the worst experience I ever had!!! I bought pin pack set HTC desire 816 just four months back and now its of no worth!!! touch system has become just a nuisance for me...its touch pad is completely out of order,..despite of keeping it with great care i m completely fed up..all the money has just wasted!!!so just think carefully before making any decision in this regard!!

Dont go for this HTC mobile. I suffered a lot. Power button is very fragile.. It will break and short circuit the entire mother board. HTC is ver very very poor in service. Especially @ chennai. I took my mobile to bangalore to get it repaired and spend More than 20 days without mobile. Awful service

Hi in HTC 816 u don't have video calling option spending so much and if there is no video calling then it's not wort paying 2445k and atlast there is no video calling I'm upset for this rest everything thing is good but if there is no video calling the mob is not wort for this.

Attic, 20 May 2015Its a good phone however the only disadvantage is, it heats... moreRelax , it's a universal problem. All phone when use too much will heat a lot and battery will dramatically get low. Me also everyday must charge phone even phone new 2 weeks.
