The last couple of days I've seen the WCDMA dual sim version of this phone slowly making its way into stores in China.
However, because it's the Chinese version, I'm waiting for someone to demonstrate that the phone can be rooted and Google services (most importantly; Google Play) can be installed.

waiting for this phone launch in india . i will get one only if it is under 22 k . according to chinese price it shold be arround 18 k . :3

I'm in love with HTC, I'm using hTc desire x, and I like the desire 816 cause of its dimensions and camera quality, I'm not sure if it's available in South Africa...if it's avail I hope that the pricing is reasonable enough for all people to afford (lol)...

wait for the sequel to this, an 817 perhaps w/ the upcoming Snapdragon 410. Now that's gonna kill all the other midrange phablets and will force Moto to make a G+.

Htc desire 816....hope u dont overprice it as usual. Come to india n look at d people....sony,samsung,nokia are a hit. Watz wrong wit HTC? U guys price it too much n wit ur other phone price range...song,samsung,nokia have better specs n cheaper dats wat makes them goin in d market. I hope Htc price 816 less than 27k...in india. Cant wait.....fr d official price..bdw...lovely phone. :)
