Got my phone upgraded to Android Marshmallow...and I did a reset after the update..I got a total of 2.75GB space out of 8GB..even through we got an option to move the applications downloaded from play store directly to Memory card...I just installed 5 important application..bcoz the RAM Is too low and the system consumes a lot...since my app number is low on phone...I have no problems...no battery issues .no performance..no glitches..no freezing...I hope the HTC provide us an Android 7.0 update it will help a lot for us. Bcoz we will get an option to turn the App off and on it....

Sir i buy a htc 816 g mobile and when i insert a vodafone or idea sim in it at home it doesnt show a coverage or signal ...........and when i walk out from home it shows signal ...what is the problem will u givee solution

Hi! I've been facing a unique problem with my HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM handset. Whenever I select CDMA in Preferred Network Mode in either of SIM 1 or SIM 2, the particular SIM gets switched off automatically ( a message appears - the slot is switching). That's why I cannot operate my handset in CDMA mode and have to keep it in Global mode all the time.
Please suggest what should I do.

I've got a new system update (3.21 something). Haven't updated it yet, needs about 500 mb free storage although the download size is about 200.Could anyone else tell me what the update brings(it only says system enhancements?

Used it for a year or so. Loved it, camera, body. Then it dropped into water. Drain it and back to work well, yet the display shows watermark. Tried to have the display replaced, apparently it costs the same as the device worth.

To move or copy files from SD card to USB, go to storage,select the storage you wish to explore and select explore and navigate to the file you wish to copy/move,press on the file and select your choice.Again go back tp storage and paste the file to your desired storage location.It has worked for me.

Upgraded to Marshmallow
Battery drains much faster
Display goes black at times for few secs & comes back on on its own

The worst phone forever I saw in my life. It was purchased by me at Gurgaon (Haryana). After expiry of its warranty this phone is gone a useless one. Always heating and battery backup is very poor. Please guys don't waste your valuable money by purchase this phone or any product of HTC. Its like big name & frame but no result. Service centers are useless. 3rd time I faced slim slot problem and service center replace mother board charged of Rs. 6,000.00/-! Please its a request don'y buy this....

After update to marshmallow , the option of internet through pass Is not available any more as I can not share PC internet with the phone which was avail with the previous update , is there any solution ?

After update to marshmallow I can't completely access to usb Storage like copy or move files between SD card and usb storage options are not available.. someone pls help... and sometimes lock button not working and it start to work again after sometimes...
