So Lollipop is expected on april for the desire 816 only or both 816 and 816 dual sim. What about 816g dual?? Thanks

good screen,normal performance,top speaker not working problem will be cleared after a restart/reboot,front cam is good in sunlight but not in dark,good sound,battery after 50% have good backup,fast recharging battery,i think the lollipop update can clear the battery performance which 100% to 50%,
overall performance is good :) :)

Very sad evn the sony t2 ultra which came in jelly bean is going to get lollipop soon but no news about desire 816 with all its flaws ....shame on htc m selling of asap

Oh Brother. Please, please don't buy HTC. You will face touch screen problem within 6 month. You can't claim warranty. You will loss your money. They have web site but you have no access to there. You can place your problem but never never they will response to you.

I have bought one about 3 months ago and now having problem with the touch screen. Screen is not not response me. After 3-4 times tap it working auto in different area/ icon. I think this company have to solve it or replace it from customer. They can replace those by tracking IMEI number. Otherwise, never I suggest to buy HTC, because this problem exists in HTC products.

brother, i have the same experience .i have bought this 2.5 months ago and now having problem with the touch screen .Non responsive sometimes and sometimes response after tapping the screen for 3-4 times. I went to a shop for repairing and it cost me almost half the price of the smartphone.in my opinion it's better not to buy this smartphone.

In my family, we bought 2 htc desire 816 dual sim on january last. Made by taiwan. Both set now touchscreen problem. Cant use it. In bangladesh htc have no service center so cant do anything. Again using my old samsung infuse.
