very nice phone . im very impressed this was the first time an android phone i used on my 3 day journey did ot give problems .battery life pretty good . i use bbm from android nd it did last the whole day along with wats app nd face book..music is did listen to 2 hours or so ...no experience with games so cannot comment on it ...but it will no be disappointing im sure ... thanks

Hello,
I buy a new htc816 two weeks ago...but now its speakers doesnt work some times.... Cant play media with phones speaker...it playing with internal speaker...internal speaker switch on automatically..... Iam verry worried..... How can i fix this issue ...is it a hardware or software problem?

nickname, 04 Oct 2014I dont know what u all want from low end device ? The phone... moreIts sucks. Very bad mobile with its range. This should be of the cost 15000 and that too becoz of brand. The phone hangs sometimes and heats upto 47 °C. The main problem with this phone is that u can't move ur dta file from ur intrnl storage to sd card. For this i have to use otg cable of my frnd raja. He use micromax unite 2 and i thnk that unite 2 is better than mine. In htc u cannot install all hd games like gta san andreas , nova 3 , fifa 14, nfs most wanted at a time . this phone is bull shit . so dont buy it. I buied for 23000 and its price fall with 1000. Htc i hate u:(

sunny, 03 Oct 2014can anybody tell me.when i capture image it give me blur imageYou don't cover phone with flip cover wile taking photos it will disturb flash otherwise alter the cover you enlarge the open area for camaraderie and flash than you will get very good photos

Zein, 30 Sep 2014I have the same problemHaving the same problem....the camera is not giving the best performance....it doesnt feels that my phone has the 13 mp camera....photos arent good enough....the selfie cam is still good...but the rear camera sucks...after the update...want to know how to downgrade my phn or jst to wait for a new update...

Battery Calibration Procedures:
•Charge the device for at least 10 minutes
•With the device truly OFF while still being plugged into the wall outlet, push in and hold volume up and volume down AND power button, for 2 minutes.
•Let go. Device will boot up, and battery/charging logic are re-calibrated.

This phone is absolutely good. People who are planning to take new phone, I sugegst them to take HTC desire 816.
