Don't purchase this mobile.

I am using HTC desire 816(dual sim) from a last month. Overall phone is a good( design, thinness, battery backup, speed, sound) but some applications(default) are not available-
(1) Video calling
(2) File manager
(3) Complete call blocker ( start with, end with, include- option not available)

I purchase hTC desire 816 dual SIM this phone is the first peace of my city but now I m not happy because it's battery backup is so bad
So have you any solution than pls informed me here

The phone is great but after the last update 1.56.401.1i had a problem the back camera 13 mp so so bad I don't know if I can downgrade to last Rom ver or there are anther solution pls help

SASAA, 17 Sep 2014somebody please tell me the way to move Whatsapp to SD card... moreHTC Desire 816 is using Kit Kat OS. Google changed the design on Android KitKat 4.4.2 to protect microSD content for security improvement purpose; therefore the applications which worked properly with microSD card in previous android versions (JellyBean or Ice Cream) may not be able to work normally on KitKat 4.4.2 until the App vendor release the new software version to follow Google Android KitKat design. This is only a small information that HTC has passed to console its users. HTC should have already released a patch for the same but unfortunately not. Hence please try to root the device or please wait untill the update. You may also move apps to Sd card by going to Settings - > Storage - > Make more space. YOu may try to connect your device to PC and transfer the data to and fro.

Naveen, 17 Sep 2014Friends, I have been experiencing two issues with my HTC 81... morenot having any of the issues u mentioned.. i have 2 htc's 816 none of them with the same problem...
1- sometimes it gives some error while downloading any app but as soon as u click retry it immediately downloads any app.
2- muust be a problem with ur pc for driver... try uninstall any phone synch managers or driver and retry installing

Friends, I have been experiencing two issues with my HTC 816. Pls help
1. i have not been able to update my apps from Play store as it gives some error 403, I dont know what it is and how this will go away.
2.Whenever i connect my phone with USB,HTC Sync manager doesnt connect to my phone and it say phone not connected.
Pls help.

i cannot see the apps wat i have in my sd card . i would like to install some of the apps from sd card but i cannot access it . so pls can anyone post a solution

I love my HTC Desire 816 Dual but only two down point are flash and front camera. The flash is terrible so i'll always have to switch off flash and front camera is not quite 5mp quality. but other than that it's a great device.

Actually the issue is apparently with the meter reading not the battery itself. The meter gives "fake" reading. I hope they fix this in the next update. I'm contacting the agent nevertheless. The phone is great in every aspect except for this annoying issue.
