Anonymous, 27 Aug 2014u r right same proble with my htc 816.
Well my handset came with a screenguard like transperent cover on the back panel as well which covered the whole back area along with camera.
So i removed the camera portion and since then i am not facing this blue images issue.See if yours too is covered with that plastic transperent on your handsets back panel.
I am facing another issue and that is not able to get files transferred from another handset to mine using wifi direct, any inputs? It connects but not able to transfer.Tried with Sammy grand as well as note 2 but couldnt transfer the files.

guys, does your 816 connects with the direct wifi. There seems some issue as i am not able to connect to any other device via wifi direct.It gets connected but files are not getting transfer. Any inputs?

Impossible sign-in to Skype with Microsoft account.
Unfortunatelly,it's known issue with this version of Android-4.4
Hope,problem will be resolve as soon as possible.

when i connect my 816 to pc i can access da memory card but cant transfer any data to it nor copy from it plz help

Guys, this phone is awsome, and the battery life is quite decent, maybe some will say it must last longer, but guys, it makes the phone the lightest phablet out there and makes it fairly thin and all of that im getting around 8 hours of really really heavy frickin usage, i played online intensive gsmes for around 3 hrs offline games for about 2 hrs music all the time browsing about 5 hours video playback around an hourand chatting and texting the whole day and i even used the camera for about half an hour. And i still have about 10% and with 35% brightness for all the time this is outstanding guys everything is awesome. this battery review was for those people who complain about its battery life, maybe u r right it should have more juice in it, but for me snd for many thers this should be more than fine, its really aesome dont believe everyone. Go ahead its the phone for u

I have bought this mobile 2weeks ago on the 1st day it self i observed that the images taken only under flash appear blue due to flash effect any fix to it??..i have tried all settings in cam & reset even

There are two variants in HTC desire 816. Dual Sim and Single sim. Single sim version is 4g LTE

Hey Guys, I bought this mobile 2 weeks back, this styler is woow , specially, Boom speakers, Cam quality,Battery life, processor speed,..Ect... But the cone are u have to use only HTC charger for better battery life, 8GB internal is not enough,non removal battery, dont charge the device in PC it will get heated. but compare to Grand 2 this device is much better in speed and RAM storage , But compare to HTC , Grand 2 Camera works great..

no other phone can defeat htc desire 816 in camera battery and in this price......it is awesome and suppeerrrr.............

I ve just bought it , at first step I can say, cause u have 5.5 " lcd2 ur Battery is awful , u need to charge it twice a day. not talk to much but using net even not frequently!!!!
