Andy, 02 Aug 2014I believe the guys forgot to mention the CDMA/GSM capabilit... morebattery life is better than any other phone with 2600 mah and most of the reviewers say its surprisingly good having in mind that the phone has a 5.5 inch display and what u said about gaming, yes it lags but its only a not so frequent minor lag which lasts less than a second

Best phone ever i had use, battery performance is too good compare to other smart phone. camera 13/5 awesome OS runs in Android 4.4 kitkat...

I hve use this phn its working good but after 1 month my Desire 816 is not charged properly and switched off automatically this is my first android phn n htc gives me worst experince of my lyf

Good Touch.
Good Camera 13/5.
Moderate Battery...should have been 3000.
Lags in HD gameplay.
Love it in Pink.

Hapy to hands-on wit HTC..fr frst tym..nd its goin very good in all segments..cam is awesome..I dint expect battery s somewhat ok fr 2 months till nw..anyway it wl goes down quick..I hav to Chek fr software update.. kudos...

pls help.. my htc 816 died .. with out any reason the screen became black but the phone is working .. tuch works and i receive calls .. the device had no harm or break or anything like that .. any help plssssssssss

The best in its class.... means signal reception n btry backup is outstanding... wt it lacks is pixel resolution n a camera button.. apart frm tht the machine is.. superb in every segment... the build quality is of top notch.. I hpy wid it in everyway :) Grt cm back htc ....

Great experience.
Battery back is good for a day with moderate usage.
Network support is good even while on the move for call & data.
Volume on calls is very loud & clear.
Camera is very good.
Sound quality is good

Should have provided better ear phones.
The volume key definitely should have being on the right side as its causing problem while using with flip case.
