i researched and found a few issues:
- u cant find font style option ..u cant change the default font.if some one knows,pls share
- u cant move apps to sd card , option does not exist, pls advise.
- u cant change theme . no option found
- 13mp camera doesnt behave like a 13mp !
pls let me know if someone has answers to these

Has anyone faced abnormal touch please reply asap, i am feeling with this phone bought yesterday?
After an update it's showing strange black startup screen after htc logo and taking time to switch on.

Dear friends plz don't go for this phone the touch sensitivity is worst
Always it is not upto the mark
Speed and other performance is really not satisfied
Plz I suggest all frnds not to go for this and don't waste ur money

Except camera the phone is good. But if are looking for a good camera in a phone plz donot go for this phone d816. Camera is nothing like 13 mp its low light performance is worst.

If u waste ur 4 or 5k go for htc 816 nd if u safe ur mny go for htc 816 g it is quite gud phn becoz vry smal difrenc does not matter nd media tek is new chip which is vry gud 4 mobil dnt wry frnds nd bougt da 816 g ya new dsire 820 ! Dats it othr wise dont waste ur mny

I've had the 816g for a week now. It's not a bad phone but I doubt I'd have bought a phone with such constraints if there were better reviews available at the time. First off, it's a 3G-only phone. No option to switch over to a 2G network to conserve battery. If I'd known this, I wouldn't have bought it. As things stand, this phone's battery will not last a full day with regular usage. Wifi drains the battery completely in 3 hrs. Also, this phone's wifi seems rather weak. My laptop, tablet and Xperia worked as expected on wifi but this one struggles with the very same wifi signal. Secondly, the 1GB RAM is a serious bottleneck. The in-built music player and Firefox crashed several times. Not a good multi-tasker, this. It will eventually get more unbearable to use, going by my experience with mobile phones over the years. Third, the camera is not as great as it's made out to be. The low light pics can get quite grainy. And you can't choose the full 13MP on the camera for "full screen display". Only with 4:3. Full screen pics are limited to 8MP. Is that the case on other phones too? Front cam is 5MP and quite good for a front cam, gotta say. I switched from a Sony to this HTC and miss the intuitiveness of the Xperia interface. I've struggled to get the predictive text working on this phone. It doesn't work in many programs, for example in Playstore! Very annoying. If only the Xperias didn't become so sluggish after 6 months. On the upside, the phone is quite pretty and the display is terrific. Many seem to be going on about the average to low ppi but I find the display an absolute pleasure to read on. No eye strain whatsoever. Way better than all the Xperias I've seen around. All things considered, it's not a bad phone but I wish I'd forked over the extra cash to buy the HTC Desire 816. At just 4-5k more on Flipkart, it is a whole lot more phone in the same casing. I suggest other buyers skip the 816g and buy the 816. You'll save yourself the trouble of having to recharge your phone twice everyday, or even thrice if you have a few long phone calls.
