A polite request to GSM arena pls review the mobile phones properly the htc desire 816 and htc desire 816g has the same design and for design rating your crew has given 8.1 to htc desire 816 and 7.4 to htc desire 816g . This is some serious matter you must consider while giving your review . Thank u.

I purchased HTC 816G 16GB Octa Core Processor model from Flipkart on 19.06.2015, But after checking the internal memory I found that only 4.3GB user memory for 16GB version. In GSMArena the specification shows 8GB model is Quad Core Processor and 16GB model is Octa Core Processor. So I verified that and found my model is an Octa Core Processor. Now I want to know whether the 16GB Octa Core Processor model comes with only 4.3GB user memory. Where are the remaining memory?
Anyone knows please help me...

Hey all, since some days i m having charging issue. Its not charging continuosly. I have to press power button after every few minuts, then only it charges, otherwise it sruck witg exclamation mark on bettery. But it charges continuosly on laptop or pc. I had hard reset my phone twice, but problem persists.
Main problem is that, i addressed this issue to htc via email, but no answer. Calling to call centre, but no one picks up the call for half an hour. No onr comes to chat for customer care.
I have worst experience with htc regarding customer care.
When we go to service center, they do not resolve the issue immidiately, they take our phone and ask to come back aftr 15-20 days. What shall we do without phone for 20 days???
Samsung has best after sales. HTC's is a service like small local brand or non brand.
Would never but HTC again. Worst ever experince. :-(

i advice to all my friends please don't purchase this phone. I brought it before 3 months ago and now I'm in very big through this phone it's power button is not working, flash is also going dim and a sim try is also jamed
I suggest to all of you please don't buy it

Camera is poor ...otherwise its a nice phone
