I used HTC desire 816g(16GB) & also 8GB, according to me both the devices are best, there is not a single issue either with camera, selfie stick, wifi . They make a perfect phone but the HTC lags behind only in the case of updates means fail to give latest updates rest if you need spend money for 1 time & want to have for long time, then go for HTC, i used for 2 years many cases happend like fall from 2 floors, into water but after dried running at its best. Now i am missing it as i have lost it.

I am using this Phone since last 2 Years and I don't have any problem. I am fully satisfy with the Phone and its functionality. I really suggest to buy HTC phones. Only single drawback as its not supporting Selfie-Stick.

i am using htc 816g from past one year
every thing about the phone is good apart from one .the wifi suddenly gets disconnects but it is displayed as active on the screen.this would be my last HTC phone i will never ever again make a mistake of buying an HTC :-)

Hi. I am using this phone since last from 2years i havent faced anykind of an problem. Ya its lag sometimes just because of 1gb ram thats it . Overall phone is awesome.

Hi,
I have a lot of issues with my HTC816G.
Main failure: The phone does factory reset (4 times !) in my pocket then ask the PUK code. (delete all settings, photos, videos, etc...)
Do you know the WHY?
Service sent back 2 times without solution... :-(

HTC is not working. Suddenly switched off then opened but I touch my screen the phone is switched off. What the problem. The phone was dead. Please give me a solution.

V G GAIKWAD, 30 Jun 2016my mobile (htc desire 816g Quad core version) android versi... moreIt's been almost 2 years since release of HTC 816g but the phone is yet to get an Android 5.x update. You may have to wait forever for an update so better switch to Motorola, Samsung or others.

Probably, my first and last HTC phone. Dont' buy HTC. You'll be stuck with same Android version for life

I am a htc die hard fan using normal 816 which is very good ha fast when i upgrade to 816g octacore which really sucks in volume or camera is not same to 816 other wise ok and also using desire eye which is very good in camera and in video quality compare to 816g

mobile looks cool!! but the features given were fake !! the upgrading os makes your mobile battery to drain fast. so dont upgrade 6.0 .... other thaan dont root your device for any sake.. your frnds may temp to root your mobile but dont do... mobile is awesome!!!1
