Ive bought this phone 5 days back...it's an awesome phone....thanx to HTC for making such an elite class product...camrea is good & it has got an excellent music quality as well....working good for me ..

bad network singnal and its work slow due to 1gb ram i bought 1 month ago i have got earfone lisning problem during call its 13 mp camera not better than its privios phone desire700 has 8mp

Worst phone phone with wifi not connecting to any router.

Htc desire 816g is an osam phone its sound quality,camera quality,battery life was jst osam.....i bought this phone 10 days ago and its a very good phone

An excellent phone at this price point. Excellent camera (both front and main). Battery backup is very good for the average phone user. Even with videos, WIFI on for long periods and calls, I got about 2 days from 100% to 10%.. A very decent, responsive phone...
For those experincing touch lag, HTC pushed an update recently that fixed the issue. Might want to try that.
