HTC Sense UI is missing in the 816G or severely limited. You cant even see it mentioned in the about settings. I would just like to change the color of the blinkfeed and it impossible without having access the sense UI setting which are disabled in this model.
Pros
Lovely fone all around. Eye Grabber. Responsive. Sound is great.
Cons
Camera is little underwhelming for the specs and doesnt feel like 13MP shooter. Having the Power button all the way up on one side is frustrating. No double tap to wake. The plastic back panel looks classy but is a smudge magnet. Need more accessories.
If anyone find a solution to tweaking the Sense UI to change the blinkfeed color in 816G let me know. weedmonk@gmail.com

Every time I receive a file via bluetooth on my phone it cries out "magic" which is quite annoying.I have tried in checking the settings in audio profiles and notification sounds.but the sound is not going.
Can somebody please address this issue and help me

The 'blue' model of HTC had a lot issue, lots of rejection and problems. My vendor told me that 50% of blue pieces have come back as rejection with the problems of hanging while charging etc. He suggested to replace it with a 'white' model as that came later on and has less rejections and issues, we replaced he fault blue lot with the white and has been so far so good but still we see a lag in terms of application opening, closing etc. Is this a ram issue or a device problem?

for the price of 18k this is the best option
don't listen to above comments saying that camera doesn't seems to be 13mp ...its all bullshit ....camera is good ...selfies are superb...u can go for this device instead of going for any Samsung crap...
touch is good
user friendly
good camera options
availability of expandable memory upto 32gb

In HTC DESIRE 816G basically the HTC declared it has 13MP camera, but when i went in to the camera setting it is showing 8MP resolution. I sincerely suggest the people don't go for this mobile.

It is the worst phone i ever had. Touch doesnot work smoothly... while charging it lags a lot...my phone is going blank every time i switch it on....i dont know why its happening...then i have to wait for back light to dim then after pressing lock button twice it came alive.... whenever network get low ...sim goes offline then i have to switch it off and on again... and i just bought the device 1 week back.... i think even chinese phones work better then this.

HTC Desire 816G Dual SIM is a stock Android device. There is no customization done on the device. The user interface feel is very old as in you are using the classic user interface. The device is a dual stand by device. When SIM card in slot 1 is engaged, SIM card in slot 2 will be temporarily unavailable. The device most of the times fails to detects with PC. There is no specific PC Suite for the device. There is a PC suite for HTC known as HTC Sync Manager but this only works with those devices that has a Sense User Interface. HTC Desire 816G Dual SIM lacks Sense User Interface. So you will not be able to use HTC Sync Manager in your device. One thing, there is no proper and authorised service center for HTC in India. The service center is least interested with your case. I have ony mentioned the negative side of the device. It is becuase normally we only see the negative points even if positive points flows like ocean. These are some of the negative points that I have come across with the device. I apologize for any wrong or inconsistent information.
