Satish, 23 Sep 2016Hi All, I am using HTC desire 820 its was fine till 1.7 ye... moreMy phone also had got the same problem of poor touch sense. the touch doesn't work. have to tap at least 5-6 times to type one letter. one of the worst phones to buy. n such a poor customer support. the power button is also mal-functioning. it remains pressed for infinite time. I'm really struggling. have just talked to my lawyer to move court against HTC.

Same problem with my cellphone dnt knw what to do now .Even if it plugged into charging the red starts blinking and nothing happens .

Hi All,
I am using HTC desire 820 its was fine till 1.7 years., now it started not working one after another like., 1st slot of sim card not responding and its not working, after few days display is showing but touch gone. every thing is happening ., after warranty overs. now customer people is saying issue with mother board., it should need to replace. its not coming at lease 2years also(we are using very carefully also)..this is very worst thing., and the cost of mother board is very high, we can buy new phone with that cost with better futuers... i am totally unsatisfied with this phone....

hey!!! my HTC desire 820 neither switch on nor charging bt only the pulse notification light were blink while charging the phone rest it is not even switched on nothing will happen in phone. please help me out to overcome from this problem.

I'm using this phone from last 1.5 years and recently upgraded to android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. I configured my sandisk class 10 128GB sd card as internal memory. While I was migrating apps to sd card as directed, received error not enough memory. However, still 111 gb was free in my card and that app was only for 80mb. I asked customer service for help they asked me to try another card, as they have received this problem earlier and it is a card issue phone has no issue. Now my point is first of all i'm using this card as sd card is the same phone from last 5 months without problem. I am facing problem in migrating some specific apps like hike, skype etc. All other downloaded apps were moved successfully. How can you say it is a card issue?
Can some one suggest me any other way?

Used this phone since its launch in india and Everything is just fine except Second sim slot not working. I love this phone.

Worst phone. Problem of Motherboard started just after the warranty period ended.
1. First Wifi hotspot stopped working.
2. Then one sim adapter stopped working and became a single sim phone from dual sim.
3. Checked from Service center, they confirmed Motherboard needs to be changed, that will cost 9.5 K.
4. After few days, another SIM adapter stopped working. So my phone became a "Dabba".
5. After few more days, Volume switches stopped working.
6. And finally after couple of more days the screen stopped working.
Now my phone is placed under the same box in which I have received it 1.5 years ago since last 5 months.

I always got headeache on this phone,overheat is often,shutting down w/out reason...poor battery

Worst phone ever...
Im using this for past 1yr and now got complaint on the motherboard and need to spend 9K rs for its repair..i spend 24k rs for this phone and now i have to give 9k more... Which is 31k rs... Go for a better option like moto,one plus 3 etc.. Never buy this crap :(

prabhakar, 15 Sep 2016htc desire 820 phones are not working properly after warran... moreSame happened with me. MOther board crashed after using 1 and half year. Heat up too much when see video for longer time. Speed is fine, camera quality is good both side.
