Karthik, 23 Jan 2015yes. I having this same problem. Charger gets heats heavily Planning to buy this phone.. Does tis phone stil ve heating isues?? Is it solved aftr the lolypop update? Kindly advice..

Hey, I just purchased a HTC Desire 820 about 3 days back, and on clicking pictures with flash on from the primary 13MP camera, an evident greenish tint is noticed.
Is anyone else having the same problem, or should I opt for replacement? Is it a hardware or software problem?
Please help ASAP. Thanks!,,,,,,,,
even i am facing the same issue........ later came to know this is the camera software issue. which reflect high tint upon capture. hope this will be fixed upon next lolipop update released by htc.. in order to fix this temp, capture image using flash light and edit image using windmere in filters tab. now can able to view image without greenish gesture.

Phone is very awzm...so light weight n can esily get public attention(shwoff) ;)..battry dies very soonn...n phn heats like hell... :( :(

i have htcfor about 3 weeks now yes there is a probleme with heating and battery charger also somtime the microphone does not work it drive me crazy i went to see theme they say it takes 1 month to repair it this phone is no goooood

Two simple ways to increase the battery backup.
1. By default your location will be on , go to settings and turn it off.
2. There is an application named "whether" , where whether of 5 cities is available. Remove all the cities which are unnecessary(better remove all the cities).
Previously my phone used to work for15-20 hrs on full charge, now it's around one and a half day ....

vaibhav, 23 Jan 2015I had the same problem with flash....got it replaced....A replacement also didn't solve the problem for me. Can you please tell me what batch your device is from? Is it working fine now? From where did you buy?

Rothbard, 23 Jan 2015Anyone know if HTC solved heating problem in one of updates... morehtc 820 does have some heating problems,which in my case happens near the primary camera.the problems can be the battery or the processor.most probably it would be the process because as have observed that the phone is slim therefore there is no space for heat to radiate out of phone.
so to minimize the heat coming out of phone go to setting>power>Power saver> and then check if CPU power usage is conserved.then go to quick setting and toggle the saver(remember not the ext saver).this should help.
the above steps may hamper the heavy gaming habits but still its a small price to pay for a slim phone.
the above steps worked with and i am quite sure that even after using the 'saver mode', other process,games and multitasking were snappy and good
and if you want to conserve only cpu usage and want other functions to run normal then again go to setting>power>Power saver> and uncheck all other values other than the "cpu usage".
i dont know about any charging problem with my device,still it charges slowly that's not a problem with me.
recommended : download du battery saver to find problems with your charger and temperature if battery temperature is less than 50 C then its fine, if it rises above it quickly power off your device
