As you have written always on 3G, only 1-1.5 hrs of talktime, frequent user of facebook & whatsapp, this particular phone matches my needs. I am also not a gamer as I spend around 10-11 hrs in the office. I liked its looks, especially White with blue edges & blue logo at the back of the phone. It looks awesome.

Anonymous, 24 Dec 2014Yes it contains Slow camera performance and one drawback is... moreassuming you are talking about removable battery to restart the phone when it hangs HTC Desire 820 has a feature by which if the phone hangs and does not respond to your touch you can hold down the power button for 10 seconds and then release it and the phone restarts. Awesome phone !
Pros:
1. Excellent display(though it's 267 ppi, it's crystal clear)
2. Great speed (2gb ram and octacore-enuf said)
3.spectacular interface
4.Sound and music is perfect
5. Sleek design
Cons:
1. Heats up a little bit ( since the back panel is plastic, the heat cannot be felt much.. but the screen too gets hot .. not noticeable while typing or playing games, but while attending calls
.. ears feel the heat .. not much though)
2. Camera is a little more than okay ( not the best like Sony cameras )
3. Battery life is jus about right... Lasts for a day with casual use
Overall , it may not be a beast... But still it's a very good phone worth of 25k

I am using dis phn nw for arnd 2 weeks..performance is awsum..da processors r brilliant..camera quality is very gud..da speakers r brilliant..one lacuna z dat it heats up a bit while playing high graphics game..otherwise itz simply awesum..if anyone one to buy a cell within 25k i would suggest to go for htc desire820..it oozes class in all aspects..

Heats up fastly while playing high graphics games. But the good part is even high end games run smoothly

what do you tell about htc desire 820 s processor? it runs on 1.5ghz octa core or 1.0ghz quad core which one please tell me guys? or is it a better choivce to buy? please notify me if ther is any defect found in this set!

I've been using HTC 820 for about a month now. It's a best in class phone in this price range. Here I m Sharing my experience which may help u.
Good things
1) Best in class display quality.
2) Super fast processor
3) Good sound quality
4) Better quality cameras
5) Good inbuilt apps
6) Nice battery backup
Scope for improvement
1) Slightly heats up
2) Oversized earplugs
3) Poor FM

Madhu, 23 Dec 2014My husband bought htc desire 820.But with in few hours it g... moreIt is not a mobile. do not buy anybody . It is very poor performance. Battery is not standing. Hanging problems. Suddenly down while speaking. If uploaded any application it will producing over heat. I have changed that mobile. Totally not good performance for saying

Simply Superb ... just works like a charm ... :) :)
The only con is lack of equalizer in music player .. Htc provides its own "BoomSound" feature which adjusts itself according to the music Genre .... !!!

According to HTC Taiwan website 820 Dual SIM have NFC. No NFC for India Version

My husband bought htc desire 820.But with in few hours it got hanged up.When he went to the customer service centre he didn't get the good response from those people saying once it is sold out it is not our responsibility. Finally they said that they will re-install the software...if still the problem persists then will think what to do.Its very crazy.

M using xperia z.dats a awsum phonr.ne thnkng 2 swithch fr 820.m really cnfused bcoz z has 441 ppl drnsity nd 820 has 267.so display quality differs.n also as per my testing xperia has good camera even both r 13MP. wat 2 do any1 plz suggest me.
