Thought that the 820s supports 4G on LTE band 20 (800Mhz). So in UK i have only 2G covering. Could anyone explane me if i can sort this probleb on the phone with a software or anything else? Could you please answer me? Thanks for any try.

Very nice phone. Problem is more heating ata the time of charging. Unless very good phone.

Pathetic Service :(
Bought Desire 820 for its appealing design and performance, but they shattered it completely by very poor service when i encountered a speaker malfunction, which is very common defect in this family. Yet to get an update on the status even after 2 weeks since i gave it for a service. Am posting this, after meeting so many people in Bangalore service centre with the same timeline issues in service. I would like to bring this to HTC's notice to improve on their service skills, and expedite on the same to hold on to the customer base.

I do not recommend HTC desire 820 if someone willing to buy mobile.Its annoying and over heating some time video are not working properly.The display is good but front camera clarity is not good.

I have had the phone for two days now I absolutely love it I bought it after a long search for the perfect and because I have a soft side for htc phones the phone looks really good very light easy to handle the sound is amazing the camera is good the only two things that bugs are the heating issue and the battery it lasts less than 24 hours in medium usage they say that these problems will be solved once updating to lollipop so waiting for the update but all in all iam really happy with the phone

Brought 2 HTC Desire 820 both have only one of the microphones working. So phones only work on speaker. Less than a week old done factory reset didn't fix problem. HTC technician was good to deal with though. Phones brought in Australia

Don't go for htc phones. They have a serious issue with mic and speakers..

faiz, 08 Aug 2015pls guide me how to turn of disable sound on htc desire 820? Which sounds are you wanting to disable? Camera sound is a security feature.
