I use it for my work, it's very solid and reliable, using it for surfing, games, everything, in great contrast to some of the negative posts here, mine has been doing superbly. No heating, no lag, the battery is good for a day and a half, the sound is good, the cam though not so very good, but it's OK for me. It is one of the best phones I've had so far and based on my experience, I'd readily recommend it.

It's been two months I've been using this device thus I didn't experience neither of the cons people claimed that they have, but one... "heating"... If you are watching a movie or playing a memory hungry game it will heat annoyingly after 10 minutes. The only drawback of this phone is waiting for the promised lollipop update. Camera is good, battery is ok ( one and a half days under normal usage). Performance is satisfying ( I don't know why I didn't say perfect, there was no lag in interface nor any games I couldn't play) There may be cheaper phones around but if you can decide what to buy in this price range, just buy this...

I also buy htc desire 820 its very amazing camera every thing good if any buddy faceing the battery problem so install juice defender from store and charging time switch off the phone and with only original charger.its best

I have bought this phone.. i would advice everyone not to buy htc phone.. no doubts the looks are good but the phone is not at all.. mine is only 2 months old phone, few days back the display had gone, i thought it must be a charging issue so got it charged..but still it din open.. had to send my phone to the service centre where people were not at all kind & customer focussed. They asked me what's the issue... i told them the display is not coming.. they said they will send it to the service centre in GGn... calling at toll free no was as if i m trying to find God...totally inethical & un professional approach... i was kept on hold for 10 mins on answering machine , i called up again.. n again i was kept on hold.... i had never experienced this in my whole life... after keeping on hold for 10 - 15 mins, the phone gets disconnected.... feel like just throwing bomb on them... from last 3 days i m trying at their toll free no. but everytime i call, i m put on hold for 10 -15 mins.. at last i was able to talk to them & same old story... i have to pay Rs.5000/- for repair for my 2 month old phone.... Dont but htc phone... These people & organisation is useless.. Save your money by not buying HTC...

The BlackBerry Leap is priced at around $285 globally. The Indian pricing is expected to be around Rs. 22,000.This Will compete with 820 now.!

Can an owner of this phone answer these questions please. It would be very helpful.
Do you get through the day with the battery?
What's the screen like? Is it responsive enough and sharp ?
How good are the cameras? Are photos really noisy when you shoot at the night ?
Is it worth its money?
