It has a large and comfortable screen, it is quite fast (the octo-core CPU never laggs) and its price is much lower that a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 !
It is thin and not too heavy and the Sense UI is as nice as the Touchwizz UI of Samsung (I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE before).
It is not a "low price" or a "discount" smartphone but really a nice phablett made by a serious phone maker !
The only thing that must be known is that you cannot change the battery by yourself (phone needs to go back to the HTC maintenance technician for that).

Specification wise this offers a high range specs which are way better than xperia t2 ulta or xperia c3. But battery wise xperia handsets are offerng a great battery backup especially t2 ultra.. so what about the battery backup of this htc 820.. ??

Desire 820 and Desire 820s
820 has qualcomm snapdragon while 820s has mediatek. qualcomm is way better than mediatek, has smooth and stable software. While mediatek is in other half.
To make this short. Qualcomm = almost perfect but heating problems. Mediatek = not that good but no heating problems.
Choose wisely.

Its a nycc phone there r no problems in it excpet heating problem its d only prob. Nd having a very gud camera...

htc will be rolling android l in this month for htc 816 and desire eye phones,so htc 820 has no exception in upate to android l,so be patient,
sure htc 820 will get android l :)

guys those who are going to buy htc 820 please dont buy this phone instead you go with htc 826,826 has better display 1080p,front ultra camera(better for low light) and more impartant is it comes with android l out of box,built quality is also excellent,just add 2k and you get htc 826 for 26000rs,if you want for low price buy in ebay enter 10% dicsount code then you get around 23 or 24k max :)
