"Htc warranty checker" go to that page(imei.info) and register. Encode the IMEI number of the unit then later on encode the serial number of unit(this is important to know if your phone is legit). if your phone is legit you will see various info about your unit. E.g date of manufacture, place of manufacture etc. If that shows, it means you have an authentic smartphone from HTC. Hope this helps.

Hi. I just want to share that this phone has solid performance. Ive been using this for a week and it keeps me up always on screen even though i have no reason. Its just that this run smoothly and almost perfectly. No question about the performance and it keeps you away from buying high end flagship phones. But 1 thing i noticed bout my unit, theres something shaking on the upper part behind the speaker when im putting down in place. Is it the speaker? is anyone also experiencing this? Im wondering its from speaker because of tension and vibrate purposes for generating boom sound. Anyone? Tia.

htc 820 users finally the wait is over!htc officially announced that android l will hit our phones from april 2nd week but sadly update comes with sense 6 ui,you can search in the net aslo, so dont worry about android l its sure :)

For all I know, the Desire 820 is still being produced and looks set to remain so for quite a while. However you can ask around but the 820 is just too recent to be discontinued.

Well, based on my personal experience of this phone and this in all honesty, I have had absolutely NO problem whatsoever. It's the Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 GPU Adreno 405 variant with 16gb storage and 2 gb rams. I've been using it now well over a month and this phone has been totally reliable and solid. I've been using it mainly for my line of work, communications, net surfing, Whatsapp, 3.9G on etc.. and some gaming, so there's NO overheating, the battery is good for a whole day's juice. To be honest, I've seen some complaints on this forum but my experience totally contrasts to theirs, mine is great and based on my experience, go for it bro.

Hii guys i m using htc desire 820 from almost 10 days....and i cn tell you that this is very good phone...vry good battery life, i m able to use it battery for a day...and i do not face any over heating issues....i was playing a heavy games continously for more than half an hour, watching videos...yes phone heats a bit while playing but does not overheat...its common in all midrange android devices the heating issue....processor is very fast very smooth no lags...camera quality is also gud......guys dont think go for it
