This is speaking for myself: I bought this beautiful single sim Phablet now over a month, it's the Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 variant with 16gb storage and 2 gb rams. I have been using it under a wide variety of situations including gaming, internet, in other words, a working tool for me including GPS and 3.9G. The battery has improved a lot so much so that I have now decided to switch off the power saving mode option which still serves me a whole day's use. The Desire 820 is truly a delightful phone, contrary to some negative posts here, I have had absolutely none of those issues like overheating or any other problem whatsoever it may be, just plain smooth sailing that's all. It's fast, reliable, solid, beautiful to look at, good to listen to, maybe the cameras front and back are not the best I've used, but they'd still manage some decent photos. Overall, this is a solid and reliable phone giving a lot more than its midrange price, so based on my very happy experience, I'd suggest you go for it.

Why don't you buy Yureka instead at 9k with cyanogenmod ROM. But if you do have a good budget go for oneplus one. Used both of them of course oneplus is better but YU's customer service is really impressive... Rest is up to you

The most horrible mobile i ahve ever used in my life.I have tried thrice to throw the bloody piece into gutter but have not done because i had bought the piece with my hard earned money.thought of selling it out but am always thinking why i should pull some on into the same gutter i am already in.
Hangs up ten times a day(even after I have given the piece for maintenance to htc service centre twice.
Heats up for boiling milk and be ware your ears may burn.
fit for nothing mobile...rather buy a normal 1000Rs mobile may keep u happy that there is nothing to do rather buy this stupid mobile and show a blank face always.......I repeat DONT BUY THIS USELESS HTC DESIRE 820 DUEL SIM
