A: Goto settings > personalize > manage home screen panels
> swipe to left and you ll find blink feed > click on remove & if u want to add it back to your home screen click on +Blink feed

I am using HTC Desire 820 from almost 1 month now. The battery life was not good earlier but after turning blinkfeed off I am getting better battery life and remember battery takes sometime to perform at it's max capacity. I didn't faced any such heating issue. The max temp that I saw on my phone is 41 deg while heavy gaming which I think is fine for an octa core device. The only thing that I am concerned about is that the power button and volume buttons are little bit loose on my phone. Is there anyone who is facing such issue ?

Thank u giving to share the information on 2/07/2015 to save the 16 hrs battery backup. i have little bit of doubt i can't understand (pls remoove blink in home screen) pls share the information as soon as possible....

Akhil, 05 Feb 2015Dear all , Don't said there is battery issue .please check... moresorry friend i bought this awesome phone 7 days ago but i have not faced any sound problem in my phone. i am using music, camera, 3G etc. but i haven't face any issue call to customer care and they will definitely solved your problem.

I just bought a dot view case for 820 from amazon.in, it's damn awesome.. Incredible feature only in hTC :-)

Hey guys this is my suggestions to have an health battery backup, remove blink feed from home screen, if your not using high-end apps or games, just turn on saver in the notification toggle. What does saver do?? here you go, our phone has 8-Processors which is called Octa core, if your turn on saver mode only 4-Processors will be active and the other 4-Processors will be sleeping. Display - Reduces screen brightness and turn off vibration feedback, data connection will be put to sleep when screen is off. I get roughly 16hrs of battery backup by using constant whatsapp, browsing, music and calling.

Dear all ,
Don't said there is battery issue .please check your battery use . In opinion stop the blink feed notification from the apps and remove from home screen .Defiantly you will get very good back up .
For another issue don't update your phone with the update which is approxx 300 MB .
