jaya, 01 Dec 2014hi friends i bought this mobile 10 days back , heating issu... morephone can be only be called "over heated" is temp goes above 49-50 degree C or phone restart after heating.....if nothing happen then that temp is meant to be created as heavy usage in an slim phone.

MIN, 03 Dec 2014Hey HTC 820 users, I m confused between Samsung Note3... morei have been an note 3 user but i use htc 820 and the S-pen was only used only in start few days after it had never even got time to use it daily.....htc 820 is way better and a future proof handset compare to note 3 neo

Hey HTC 820 users,
I m confused between Samsung Note3 Neo and HTC 820. Knowing the fact that Note 3 has S pen like no phone has but HTC is way smart in terms of perfomance, looks, features. The S pen hs extreme advantages like no phone has and the only reason to go with Note 3 neo. Plz suggest.

the best phone i have used ever. i throw the apple 4s when i use this htc820. really a awesome gadget. sound, camera, net speed, battery backup is excellent.sleek design, light weight and its stunning beauty is making this perfect. big screen and its crystal clear display making this phone more admiring.

I checked regularly the battery heating position and it never crossed 36d even when I was charging the phone and played asphalt 8 and real racing etc., games. I felt even my Moto E heating a bit while playing games or charging. That's quite normal. I faced no lagging on my 820 dual sim, in fact, this is my third HTC phone and I should say HTC phones are the best among android phones. Earlier I used HTC one, HTC one M8( I'm presently using it also). I face no lag while using HTC or Motorola phones. But, Samsung phones always shown me hell with lagging problem. (Galaxy S1, Note, S3, Note 3 all phones tested my patience. Note series are somewhat ok). Nexus 5 however is a great phone and the high end phone of the last year. If it's available around Rs.20000, then go for Nexus 5( it was offered at the price online one week back). However, if you want all features like, camera, sound, movies, music, internet, big screen etc., then, pick 820 dual. Nexus is already offering lollipop, and 820 dual definitely will get lollipop as its a new phone. Whether to buy nexus 5 or 820 dual depends on your preference only. Both phones are good phones in their category. If you can spend Rs. 30000, then, go for HTC one E8.

If you play heavy games, it will last for 5 to 6 hours. Internet 7 to 9 hours. It's a big screen phone, so, remember.. It's power hungry phone definitely. Whenever I bought a high end phone like note 3, HTC one M8 etc, I used them a lot and they too never lasted for a full day as they consume a lot of power. Any phone with big screen/processor/pixel resolution, good camera will definitely use power a lot. So, no problem with this HTC 820 dual. It's a mid range phone only with Octo core power saving processor. But, the GPU is another mighty one in 820 dual as it is 405 GPU processor. That too it's having Gorilla glass 3 also. For details visit HTC india official site. This phone is certainly bang for bucks. Performance wise, Nexus 5 might be performing well, but, features like camera, sound etc., make 820 dual better pick.

If you have a budget of around Rs. 30000, then go for HTC one E8, which is a great pick for the money. But, don't buy HTC 816 by mistake, because it's features and specs cannot be compared to that of 820 dual though price is almost the same. 820 is the upgraded version of 816. I went to buy HTC one E8 but, the shop keeper offered me 820 dual. Nevertheless, I'm happy with my 820 dual.

I bought htc 820 evrything perfect ..
Except camera it dissapointed but its ok..
We can change in settings.
But battery is tooo heating near rear camera..
Charging is okk ...
Bczz alll android mobiles r same...
Overalll amazing phone n no lags at all ...

I am experiencing some sort minor problem with desire 820. Are any body have the similar problem??
I am not at all sure is it a flaw or not
1. With the camera app when a click on the mode button (a square with four circles) a creep tick sound producers and also while existing the mode
Also, when I try to focus there also this sound there is some sort of focusing sound on all mobiles but it's something different
And another small sound rarely produces when closing the camera app by pressing the back button
2. The next problem is also related to sound, while chatting on whatsapp if a message comes sometimes chat sound produce sometimes not and if it produces it is some sort of annoying sound not normal
Also, most of the times there no sound when i send message on whatsapp but sometimes it produces like other phones
Please reply me if anybody having this type of problem or is not a problem at all
