hi friends i bought this mobile 10 days back , heating issue is very high. even when i play simple games like temple run and plants vs zombies, its getting over heated.....plz help me . giv me a solution plz

Also, have you faced any overheating issues yet? I need to know as I have to decide between the nexus 5 (performance guaranteed) and desire 820 (better speakers).

I'm using it for the last 2 weeks. Purchased for Rs. 23,500 in Univercell show room including free flip cover, screen guard and one year damage insurance. the phone is awesome. Camera is really good. The two sims support 3G and 4G LTE. See the settings for it. Net speed is really awesome. Use any sim except airtel. This Airtel idiots do not offer good internet speed and cut the signal every 5 to 10 seconds but declare themselves as the leaders in India. The CPU PERFORMANCE IS GOOD IF NOT GREAT. I've used Note 3, HTC one M8, Moto G2 etc. in recent times, so have good understanding of how great phones perform. This dual sim functionality is great. Camera however cannot be compared with note 3 but easily beats M8 and Moto G2 etc. the front camera is also too good in the day light. I purchased Dot view cover for this 820 dual sim and its really amazing. Battery usage is however is not that good. It lasts around 10 to 12 hours as the screen drains the battery juice rapidly. Boom sound is the best. Watching movies, listening to music, Internet browsing etc., are damn good on this phone. This phone outclassed my Galaxy Note 3 in music section and movie section with its Boom sound Stereo speakers. I felt like I'm in a theatre. It's easily on par with HTC ONE M8 interns of sound. The camera of this phone outperformed the M7 and M8 camera quality. Regarding battery, no smart phone except Moto E and G2 gave a full day juice. Moto phones gave me good battery life just because I never used them fully any day unlike other smart phones. Perhaps that might be one of the reasons for the Moto phones battery performance. So, no complaints. I carry a power bank with me always for the past 2 years. ( lol .. That's true) so my practice with other phones of charging with power bank continues even with this phone also.

Just now i got this phone through online. everything is perfect and awsme.. but im little bit disappointing on camera qlty.. it is just like a micromax convas.. anyone could u plz tell me whetr there is any options to increase the camera qlty in this phone..?(Like choosing pixcells)..
Any how all my colleagues have aww on while seeing my phone.. :) i deserve it.. mangathadaa

Suggest me whether go for note 3 neo or htc 820.the spen stylus and the battery life are the pluses i cosidered with note 3 neo. The hanging issue is the factor that force me to change my decision. snap dragon processor 615 and camera mega pixels and lollipop updates are the plus for htc 820 but heating issues phone size and non-removable battery are negatives i considered for htc 820 please suggest me to choose the optimal one...

Don't go for 820 it is getting heated and suddenly it's start restarting while playing games like fifa 15 and modern combat5...and the battery is also drained quickly but camera is awesome at day time only camera is better please don't go for this phone

I have got this mobile and found no problems with the mobile. Also, the heating problem might be because of the memory card. The speed of the memory card and the phone probably does not match, due to which it heats up. This mobile requires class 10 or above memory cards.. Please change the memory card and check if this helps.

htc 820 does have some heating problems,which in my case happens near the primary camera.the problems can be the battery or the processor.most probably it would be the process because as have observed that the phone is slim therefore there is no space for heat to radiate out of phone.
so to minimize the heat coming out of phone go to setting>power>Power saver> and then check if CPU power usage is conserved.then go to quick setting and toggle the saver(remember not the ext saver).this should help.
the above steps may hamper the heavy gaming habits but still its a small price to pay for a slim phone.
the above steps worked with and i am quite sure that even after using the 'saver mode', other process,games and multitasking were snappy and good
and if you want to conserve only cpu usage and want other functions to run normal then again go to setting>power>Power saver> and uncheck all other values other than the "cpu usage".
i dont know about any charging problem with my device,still it charges slowly that's not a problem with me.
recommended : download du battery saver to find problems with your charger and temperature if battery temperature is less than 50 C then its fine, if it rises above it quickly power off your device
