nice phone. camera is really good. battery back up is also fine. only thing is android 5 is not yet released i think for this model..

Best phone ever......i bought....no prob yet...best camera qaulity and functions....processor is as fast as snapdragon.....battery backup is also very gud along with fastest charging speed :)

After trying to update the os of my htc 820 g+ , it seems that the update is corrupted and it have a message with the logo of android and a sign above it, the maintenance store confirmed that we need to install the ROM for the device but they cannot find it, any one can help?

This is my complete review regarding this phone after completing 2 months of usage. take your time and read it till the end.So I'm now gonna give a Full review about this phone as I promised in the earlier comment.
PERFORMANCE:
since I bought this phone on August 20th 2015, I couldn't notice any performance lagging and hanging issues in the phone. it doesn't even lags under a light to heavy gaming usage.this is the best phone under 1gb ram category, if you want to unleash maximum performance and the true octa-core processor speed, uncheck the box 'CPU power saving mode' then you'll sacrifice battery to the performance.

DISPLAY:
the display of this phone is fairly good in both indoor and outdoor conditions. still it's unmatched for the super Amoled display which is equipped in Samsung phones and also lesser ppi density doesn't compromise for crystal clear images and videos. still you can see clearer images and videos in a HD quality ranging from 720-1080 pixels videos on this 5.5 inch screen. Also if you want to make this phone cool and protected, buy HTC dot view original cover, then you'll see the difference.

CAMERA:
this phone flaunts 13mp rear and 8mp front facing camera. both cameras are good, but it takes some more time to focus and capture images compared to other phone's 13mp camera. front facing camera is good enough for a sharper and clear Selfies and if you're a Selfie lover then surely you will love this phone. Also the 13mp camera doesn't do well in dark conditions so it's more suitable for a day time usage.

BATTERY LIFE:
one of the most important quality a customer wants in a phone which satisfies his requirements. this phone comes with 2600 mah li-ion battery and with a normal usage you Will get 1-1.5 days. Also this battery charges more quickly from 1%-100% in 2.5 hours. one word for battery life: it's amazing :) to maintain optimum battery levels in this phone, you need to check 'CPU power saving mode' to on. Also till now I didn't find any heating issues in this battery even if I use heavy performance based games sometimes on my phone.
my ratings on battery: 10/10
CONNECTIVITY:
it is a must have phone in your inventory if you're a dual SIM lover. Calls, Video calling, sms, WiFi, internet connectivity, Bluetooth and everything related to connectivity is just awesome! only one thing it's lacking.. 4g LTE connectivity. yeah right there is no 4g option in this phone. you need not buy this phone if you frequently need to connect it with 4g data. Initially I thought I had SIM2 card detection error message even after trying endlessly to keep it intact in its slot. Later on, I came to know that it's not phone's fault, it's my fault as I didn't inserted my SIM2 tray properly! after that, I never got any problems regarding SIM card positioning. if you buy this phone, make sure you insert your Sims properly into the slot!

SPEAKERS:
one word for these HTC desire 820g+ dual SIM speakers: Amazing!!
there are two modes in these speakers 1: normal sound, 2: HTC boom sound.
in a normal sound mode the sound levels are low and on a HTC boom sound mode, everything is awesome :) from ringtones, notifications to the music and video sounds, everything is crystal clear and ringtones/notifications sounds can be heard clearly in other rooms (I.e., 25-50mts away) so this is really good feature in this phone and I really love it.
my ratings for speakers: 10/10
LOOKS AND HANDLING:
this phone looks cool from the front as it's flaunting 5.5 inch screen. I'm currently owning gray coloured phone with milky way coloured outline. In the first impression this phone looks kinda normal phone, neither costly one nor a cheap one and as most of the HTC smartphones don't have a home buttons in the middle like those we see in the brands like Samsung and Apple.it only has just 3 buttons, vol up & down & power button which are easy to operate. the thickness of the phone is comparatively low and the back panel is made of plastic which is a big magnet for the finger prints. with HTC dot view case,this problem gonna be sloved and an additional protection will be better. well, you can use this phone with one hand despite having a large screen display. Also the screen is not super responsive to touch, probably it might be the issue with thick layer of my new screen guard,but I'm not sure about it.
my ratings for looks and handling: 8/10
[+]PRICE GROUP:
this phone belongs to the middle or sub-middle range smartphone class. I bought this phone for 17k INR and till now I've never been facing any problems from this device. If you're looking to buy a smartphone on this budget then you'll never regret buying this.
PROS:
1. Relatively superb performance even It's sporting 1gb ram
2. Battery life is excellent
3. Bigger 5.5 inch display
4. Awesome speakers and it's sound quality
5. A must have phone for a Selfie lovers
6. Best phone under 15-20k INR price group
CONS:
1. back camera flaunting 13mp doesn't seem to have a good quality compared to other related phones which is having the same equivalent camera
2. no 4g connectivity option.
MY OVERALL RATING: (9/10)
If you're looking for a phone under 20-17k INR, then this is the best phone, just go for it and you'll find it as one of the best htc smartphone under 20k category :) Good luck guys.
