Not a single upgrade has come to it since . So don't expect any updates on kitkat. BTW 5.0.2 has a serious memory leak bug..stay clear from the upgrade

I did a firmware upgrade on HTC desire 820s from kitkat to lollipop 5.0.2(sense 7.0) using the flash tools from xda developer site. Lollipop is slow and not optimized. I Recommend all the kitkat uses to use kitkat and not upgrade . Upgrade isn't worth it. RAM usage is too much .And battery drain is quicker. Trust me .don't upgrade

I'm facing many issues with location service. Even though I switch on GPS and Mobile Data, google maps takes the location only based on Mobile data. GPS is not picking at all... No issue with the GPS sensor. Software issue. I tried every possible way to fix it, but not succeeded at all.. Fed up with HTC.

I used htc820s for one year ! Fed up with this mobile batteryback up is worst as every1 said,takes many hours for charging :( used to charge 2,3 times a day no updates bought this fone for 24k sold for 6k and bought coolpad note3 lite costs 7k i'm very happy compared to that stupid mobile i suggest every1 never ever go for htc mobiles !! ThanQ

I asked for the schedule for Asia. No answer. I asked will there be an update at all. They said not sure. Frustrating and bad. Bought a Sony smart watch and does not work with htcdesire 820s due to 4.4.4. Returned the smart watch. Planning to buy a xiao mi phone.
