i had purchased this phone with great hope. now i am regretting like any thing. biggest issue is this that it becomes very hot during use. so while on charging. similarly contact book is not user friendly....due to it, i really missede zenphone 2. i wish htc takes it back and return me atleast 80% of bill amount for using it for 8 days.

Lots of issues with this phone..i cant download some apps in the playstore coz of some error and when i play dungeon hunter 5 it hangs makes it unplayable..not to mention the battery life is terrible..really disappointed..hope there will be a software update soon.

guys plz dont buy htc phone.. who are camparing it with samsung,asus,and other small brand.. htc is a big brand dts y there phone comes in big price range.. like apple and blackberry.. if u think ds price is to expensive campering to one plus & samsung(which phone values goes half after a month) so plz go wd other brand like micromax xolo etc.. and if u want to buy a good branded phoone in low price.. i thing u should wait for a year when there price decreses.. like before a year samsung s5 price is 48k.. and now its only 24.5k so dt is a bettr deal for them who things ds is expensive..

Dear Friends
I heard that HTC 820, 820s, 826 Models have heating issue, But after using for a month or so, There are no issues with the mobile or software.
Though other Brands are providing the same configuration for much cheaper price, But the Branded phone like hTC, Samsung etc work for a longer period.
Can Anyone suggest me which one to take: Htc 820s or 820 or 826, else other brands

Good phone. But battery issue. Standby time is all good. But after few minutes of use l, the phone gets intensely overheated. Also can anyone suggest me how to root it with zip file using recovery.

only thing which is not normal on this phone is that itz overheating at some times whenever you use camera just 15-20 minute...!!!
otherwise is awesome smartphone...!!!

Recently purchased HTC desire 826. Initial feedback is phone is quite average.
Pros
> excellent display
> good sound quality
> touch is smooth
Cons
> very poor battery. Battery touched to 40% in just few hours after charging it to 100%. Received 2 phone calls and was not using 3g service during this period.
> Camera is very poor.
> it took 4+ hrs to charge it to 100% from 27%.
