I bought this HTC 826 last year. But i didn't now that i have to face worst experience while using this phone. It having display problem, as the display got blanked & i am not able to even call anyone. I had already replaced the motherboard as well as the device was also got changed. But still the same issue which was not resolve.
I urge to those who are going to buy this deice. Please, please got even think about it.
No need to purchase this device.

Compony changed Battery, Mother Board, and also given new Mobile handset in warranty.
No battery back up. Foolish decision.
If you buy always carry your charger.
Not at all worthy to spent Rs. 24000.
Do not Buy.

I bought this fon last yr and have some issues camera is good works better in light performance is okay but while playing any heavy game like injustice or modern combat the speed gets slow, heating is also an issue bt my biggest problm is dat my device is not getting updated whenever i try to update it it shws some status error 7 while installing. Can any one who can help me with this plz.? Cause overall its a good device sound and display is gud only hangs or get slow while using any heavy app i hav clicked some wonderful pics from this fon..

camera quality is good but battery quality is very poor when play online game with jio it show warning symbol in battery and phone heat very fast in only 2 min of use of jio very bad service in warranty period on htc service senter

Worst phone I have ever used. Heating issue, charging point failure, battery life too less. Most of the time when you update apps old version do not override and creates space issue.
Overall for me 2 out of 5 stars.

I purchased this phone solely looking at the specs sheet. This packs with some outstanding components,it seems. But as soon as I stepped away from the store where I purchased the phone, the disappointment began.
Even though the display is 1080p, panel that power the display is poor. It reflects a white washed like background when using in outdoors, making black color reproducing much more unrealistic.
2nd thing is the camera quality. Both cameras are rated as 13 MP but give u pictures worth of 5 MP, or maybe even poor quality.
Disappointment factor 3: build quality of the phone. HTC was renowned for making high quality handsets as their brand name sounds (High Quality Computers), until I got my hands on this phone. Plastic back cover make disturbing sounds whenever I grip the phone tightly and top of that the shutter of the front camera was so loose that I could hear it shaking when I'm placing phone on a table or putting it in the bed.
4th thing I hate is the battery life. Battery juice drastically drains if a game is playing for few minutes or browsing Internet with Chrome on 4G (there were no option choose between 3G & 4G in the version I used; Vietnamese). Upper middle section of the back gets heated so quickly on heavy tasks and sometimes its almost unbearable to skin.
I moved to 826 from Motorola Moto G thinking that it's an upgrade that eventually I regretted.
Finally got rid of 826 and moved to a OnePlus 3 recently and I love the way it feels now.
