Cases would help, and it supports dot view, so that looks cool too :P And just in case, you could get it insured. We do these stuff with pretty much every phone, so lack of screen protection must not be that big an issue. It just cant be used without any screen guard.

I bought HTC desire 826 before 2days excellent look,feel and performance but battery backup is relatively low compare to 820 but performance is good with 4ultra pixel secondary camera,but my bad luck by 2day the blue ribbon around the phone started piling out and to charge 100% taking 6hour,requested for replacement hopefully i will get a good one,i think it was defective piece which i got...Disappointed by HTC 826 planing change.

bought this phone.....no major heating issue like 820.....thermal sensor absent.......both 13mp camera hav decent quality...sound quality awesome.....lcd screen resolution as well as quality is good as compare to the 820...... overall good in hand..... 4 star out of 5

Do not buy this shi**y phone, it heats up a lot even on normal usage and battery backup is pathetic. Another crap from HTC. I don't own this phone, but one of my friend does, he bought this phone on my suggestion. It's my mistake that i assumed that they have solved the heating issue in this phone.

Bought this HTC 826 Phone recently, very 2nd day the camera stopped working, did several reboots but no luck. Phone looks good but what is the use if the phone doesn't work effectively the way it is supposed to.
Phone is quite heavy for a woman's usage. I have returned the phone for replacement and I thinking to switch to Samsung.

But one thing I'm worried about is that there's no mention of any screen protection in the specifications... Like Corning Gorilla Glass or anything... The screen will shatter if it falls on its face, even with a tempered glass screen protector.. And HTC Always has display issues...

it's only work with GSM network...!!
if u r interested in cdma then wait some times go for ZTE Nubia Z9 Max....both gsm & cdma ...!!!
