"LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900)"
without specifying the region of operation. These specs were given based on the initial model released in China I guess.
If we see HTC one M8("http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one_%28m8%29-6074.php"), they have specified clearly, the specific bands for the same mobile released in different regions:
4G bands
LTE band 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800) - 'EMEA'
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 28(700) - 'Asia'
LTE band 4(1700/2100), 17(700) - 'T-Mobile'
LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 17(700) - 'AT&T'
LTE band 40(2300) - 'India'
It will be of no use if a mobile(any mobile) is bought which is not compatible to the bands according to the region of operation.
Hence, Can anyone(who has bought the mobile in India and used 4G in it) reply if HTC 826(released in India) supports compatible 4G bands provided by networks Airtel, Aircel, Reliance, etc.

Been using it for a day now.. Brilliant phone.. No overheating issues yet.. Speakers are excellent.. Screen is also good..

I had a chat with htc representative, he told me that according to internal info gorilla glass is not there..... If u've any info plz tell us....this is the only reason not to go for 826....

The phone which is available now have 13MP front camera and not 4ultraMP one. There will be another model launched in few days with 4UltraMP camera in front and that would be available for around INR30000. The one which is available now can be purchased for around INR25000.

Yes it has corning gorilla glass 3 protection on top....perfect smartphone....if u wanna buy....grab it.
