My reviews after using 3 months:
+ Good build, light weight, classy display, premium look, good speaker sound and pretty much clear voice, head/earphone input is good.
+ Impressive camera, both front and read. Front specifically is awesome if you are selfie freak.
+ comes with gyroscope so ANT VR can be used via google cardboard
- Don't buy if you are gamer. All big games run very slow and practically impossible to play.
- It certainly heats up even if you play subway surfer.
- switching between open apps is very slow, this is pretty annoying.
- Heats up almost with mild usage. If your call getting extended beyond 10 min you will start feeling heat.
In short if you are heavy user it's a waste of money. Users with who don't play games or do not use phone heavily can go for it!

Am facing problem with the rear camera. The pictures are not clear and dots like things are appearing on the photo. Missing the clarity. Could anyone help me out with the settings.

I bought this mobile 30th April very first day i observed over heating not able to use 10 min this is not good buy i think battery backup also worst

In India 828 3gb ram 32 gb model costs inr 20000 (it has no dual 4g support)
Then 830 will be inr 25000 825 will be inr 16000
The real problem of HTC is it's specs & price are not matching

amal, 04 May 2016I have a little confusion between 825,828 & 830.which i... moreIf I were you, I would drop the 825 no thanks to its outdated chipset (Snapdragon 400) and less sharp screen (720p). But theoretically it could give better battery life.
Between 828 and 830, depending on your needs you could pick the 830 because it sports a much better chipset (Helio X10) than 828's one (MT6753), however you would need to spend a little bit more.
One thing, the 830 is currently Taiwan-only.

Great cam front n rear both, good baterry life, but this big guy is not for gaming.

I defended from htc and said htc has no lag or any hang..... just this and maybe your comment was for any body else. I can't believe .....
I said and say again,htc has no hang especially in midranges or flagships.htc flagships work great after 2-3 years....

I recently purchased DESIRE 828 (3GB/32GB) dual sim model on 16/4/16 & immediately faced a Hardware issue with this. excessive overheating & very fast draining of the battery. Took teh phone to V care serv ice centre In South Mumbai on 25/4/16 but they are still unable to give me the replacement certificate,Their helpline also is unable to resolve the issue.
BAD PHONE WITH WORST AFTER SALES SERVICE fORGET BUYING IT bUT DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT IT.

And 828's camera got OIS.
So the 828 is better.
