its a good phone for the price we paid.
cameras horrible though.
and the phones really slow
lately i had some technical problems like the time was the same for 5 minutes.

I'm using htc explorer n I've got that too . it blinks when calling, turning on the phone and etc. I'm damn sure it's a sensor after all htc has got all that fn like ringing volume lowers when in hand, lights up when we put the phone awAY frm ear while in call, actives loudspeaker when phone faced down etc which definitely needs sensor to fulfill these jobs.
SO don't worry it's just a sensor.

I paid less than a hundred bucks for this new (NO Contract). It's the very best phone out there for that price guaranteed, by far. Anything over $120.00, maybe consider getting something else. Or if you want a contract get something else that will take forever to pay off and be obsolete by the time you get done.

hi recently i bought this mobile it was excellent to use i loved it... few problems i need solution pls help
1.)red colour light is blinking top near name htc wy it blink how to off??
2.otions bottom of the mobile light is not on in night/dark times how to on ??
3. red colour is flashing always while using mobile wy tihs all??? pls help me

recently i bought htc desire c on the first it is excellent to use compact too but few probs are there like slow process, bad sound quality, hang some time, i dont know y red colour light blink near htc name in screen top, and the three options in bottom like back,menu,recently used the option light is not on in night/dark times yy how to on it, sometimes red colour is flashing while mobile in use yy tis all how to slove these problems pls help

its a good phone with awesome finishing + smart apps but only 1 drawback that is processor

viju, 10 Apr 2013HTC Desire c is having drawbacks,which ever I found that... moresound quality is on par or better than some of the mid-range phones,considering it is an entry lvl phone.
the proc is enough for light to medium gaming,web browsing,messaging etc.
the camera isn't that good as it has no autofocus
...but the phone is entry level,if you want a better experience or 1080p video playback buy a more expensive one and stop complaining, you got what you paid for.

It's a nice phone.........
compare to all mobile phones at the same cost the best way is choose HTC Desire c..........
this is the correct Mobile phone for whoever smartely handled......

HTC Desire c is having drawbacks,which ever I found that poor sound quality , very slow processer, only good one is camera and picture quality

I bought HTC Desire C in December 2012 while review I found everywhere (web-site, covering box ) about 4 GB internal memory whereas on usage its only 0.98 MB.. system too slow, every moment it gots hang.. and many draw backs. however except look entire phone is worthless. service is too worth...

total internal memory is 4 gb but only 1 gb is usable. rest of 3 gb already used for the OS :)

for the people that asked for advice , the htc desire c (and equally the one v) are budget phones with a slow cpu and low amounts of ram , htc is a brand name that has been around long(before even thay have been known by names as qtek and a few more)
htc has made windows mobile phones since the phone release of wm5(years ago) and was the first to commercially comeout with android(the htc dream , magic and hero)
if you are looking for a company that knows their products go with htc
now if you want a cheap fast android device buy a used htc desire (not this phone but the ORIGINAL desire) or used htc desire z
if money is not a problem i would higly recommend the htc one s
