This is a great phone especially for those who don't want those bigger ones. Desire s fits just right in the pocket and Golla pouches. Very fast for me. especially when editing pictures.
My only pet peeve is that it doesn't have a Li-Po battery. Would've made it last longer.
My question is, the specs here says it has 768MB RAM. But why is it that when i check the running services, RAM only amounts to roughly 550MB (used 136MB, free 411MB)?
I would appreciate any answer. Thanks.

Very Fast Indeed. HD video recording makes the smartphone even better. High resolution, Medium-Large capacitive touchscreen very useful, powerful flash. Satisfied

i heard the vdo is bad!! ithnk its bad in framerate i hav seen 5 frm youtube !! 2 were gr8 but three had very bad framerate!!! wat actually is can any user tell me!!how is the video quality i dont need a super super quality but one with goos framerate and fluidity that dosents makes blurred fades while videoing moving things!! and how is the audi quality!! is it loud like sony ericssion!! or just tell is it loud enough!! plzz comment in detaiL!!! AND DOES THE CAMERA HAS MACRO MODE!
please tell me in full detail about video framerate and smoothness and audio loudness and clarity soon!!

waei, 19 Sep 2011after read your opinion, i think SE Neo is good too. but ju... moreNo, sorry to small have a desire also, almost the same memory. Would suggest go for 1 GB ore more, not all can be installed on SD-card. running out of memory is not that great.
Installing and un-installing have done that plenty of times with desire and G1

Incredible, great phone also but no experience with it, was my first choice but that the desire s came.

Hello everyone, quick question, I have a Desire S and was wondering if this phone would be getting ice cream update? Anyways I am in live with this phone, Gtalk Skype MS Office, amazing games (PES 2011, Assassins creed etc.) Good music player and camera. Couldn't ask for more (except ice cream update :P). The battery problem might be because of us using it so much cuz of its awesomeness ;)

does anyone knows how can i make a second call as the first call is active??
i press the button to show the keyboard, i dial the number and then dont know which is the call button.

hi everyone pls dont ever try to buy this phone.... its a waste phone, i have brought this last month & had lot of problems, went to service center 3 times & still the problem is not solved. Hangs up, not able to restart. pls anyone tell me how to get reimbursement.
