Guys please help, I just got this phone yesterday but when I try to create a google account, it says 'There could be a temporary problem or your sim card might not be provisioned for data services' I do not know what it means but I can't even go on to the Android Market because of this.

Recently after updating my Desire S, my phone receiver has stopped working :( When i make or receive i cannot hear any voice on phone, however others can listen to me, Speakerphone has also become very quiet.:(
Going to service center tomorrow.

Is there any good video player available for desire s which can support all MKV videos(720p)?
GSM Arena review says "It managed to play some MKVs up to 720p too, but half of them ran without sound."

Regarding the android update, it will definitely support the next version as its released with gingerbread out of the box. N ya HTC sense UI is the best compared to other manufacturers.
But if u have got more bucks to spend then go for SAMSUNG GALAXY SII as its a monster android phone (in terms of specs) dats released so far, though the UI and build quality is not the best.
SO make a choice(Dual core or single core)
NOTE: Theres always some drawbacks in all smartphones thats ever produced so far.

HTC Desire S,,a Perfect phone in your hand..the only lack is the Camera Quality
HTC needs to work lot on Camera
Overall Perfect Andriod phone.
Recommend it to buy!!!
