i got problem HTC desire S when i charge my mobie it hit automaticale so what was the reason of hit. is there softerwear problem or battery? if any one can tell me please......!!!

You start the program, and it`s realy easy to install for EVERYBODY :D

t_x, 27 Oct 2012settings/security/screen lock : face unlockTnx . i found it. the reason it was not visible on my system was that i had a VPN set and the Face Unlock was disabled. once i removed the VPN i have the face detect also. tnx again

Hi, upgraded to the HTC ics rom you have to download four days ago. I noticed that there are new features such as face unlock, New task switcher, and buried deep in the settings is a built in swype keyboard, updated Mail and Talk apps. Glad I did the upgrade. always good to have new software to play with

I was expecting an OTA ice cream sandwich upgrade but HTC let us down. i went on with the upgrade anyway Everything is working normally and here are the Pros :
1- the battery life is much better compared to when i was on 2.3.5. I used to get 2 days before , now the phone runs for 3 days without charging and normal use.
2- i guess ICS is really using all the resources of the Adreno chipset. Thats why the screen is more colorful , more lively and better color rendering could be seen.
3-the camera interface is much improved and now all the important setting u need ,are right where u can see them.
4- some of the widgets have changed and they are more user friendly.
Cons:
1- the phone is a bit laggy when u compare it with 2.3.5. but its not a heartbreaker.
2- the screen brightness sensor appears to be dimming the display to an uncomfortable level in all light conditions. i had to shut it off and set the screen brightness manually to 50 percent.
3- the Upgarde is WWE and though it supports farsi and arabic fonts , but builtin farsi/arabic keyboard is missing. so i had to install jellybean keyboard application.
Thats it. I hope this helps people who cant decide on upgrading.

Collins, 10 Oct 2012Any news about ICS in South Africa?So far i knwo D S is not going to get OTA update as usual rather HTC published ROM update in their official website....so no country dependency..Ive already updated months back..no lagging so far..

i cant use android market in my htc desire s..when i try to open android market display showed that a network error has occured.but i am using internet all time..what's problem?please anyone help me..will i update ics..is ics update good?

HTC fan don't turn against its family. meaning, we change phones from HTC to HTC. I'm HTC evo 3d & HTC desire S & HTC One X at the same time. HTC J butterfly or HTC DLX here I come. HTC desire S after a year does perform well.
