my HTC displays Android system and goes off ,,fyi the fone works perfectly and this problem occurs once in a day and also the battery drains out quite fast

ICS runs very nice on Desire S and looks much more modern compared to GB. Also with ICS, Desire S becomes compatible with almost all apps on Google Play.

Ballack, 12 Nov 2013how much did it cost you to upgrade to ice cream sandwich?I didn't spend a penny on ICS upgrade. I just downloaded the ICS 4.0.4 ROM for HTC Desire S from htcdev.com and installed it through my laptop using HTC Sync.

Got this phone in March 2012 and now it's time to move on. The volume up key doesn't work anymore and the battery door holder's broke. Other than that it's still solid and running cyanogenmod 10.1 Jelly Bean 4.2.2
My next phone has yo be a HTC because this has been a great phone.
