Bought in feb... Same problem of rebooting.... Yesterday n today combined switched off for 30 times... Very annoying.... Especially when i am using internet involving game or app.... Ughhhhh.....

Not user problems to date. Like all dual SIM phones it is heavy on battery use. My only problem is that I can not obtain a spare battery as no other HTC model seems to use this particular battery type.
I use both a private and business number for mainly
talk, text, email and internet browsing. Phone came from the Ukraine and is set to use UK/Australian. English.

One of the worst phones in the market, have been using it for the past 6 months. The phone has a severe auto reboot issue, it restarts about 15-20 times a day.
Please do not buy this phone, can anyone suggest what can i do? Will HTC replace this phone

HTC Desire is one of the worst phone with auto reboot issue. Suggesting not go for any HTC phone. My mobile is repaired for many times but I am seeing still reboot issue. It's just six month old mobile so Now I am planning to go to consumer court, if they don't sort out my problem immediately.

worst phone ever...purchase in december'13 with rs 21750/-
1) already 3 times in service center for same problem
2) replaced with a new device in 24/4/12
3)again same problem occur at june end with the replaced set- now currently in service center from 6/7/13.
4)problems - auto shut down,auto restart, network not detected, sim card not detected, cant make or receive call and sms.
now service center will replace my mother board, imei number in 6-7 months.
never ever purchase the htc desire sv- i am thinking to go to print media to unmask..

dont buy this desire sv my friend bought this then after one week i also bought it.....it is such a bad phone htc has allready stopped its production in 4 monts of releasing....and my freind allready sold it im also planning to do the same

Hi friends i saw all ur comments...i to faced the same problem of restarting bt really thanks to htc service center that they got it done in just couple of hours..now my mobile is working awesome no lag nothing..everything is fine. I bought it in dec..loving this phone..battery backup is very nice.

htc desire sv, one of the worst phone ever built by anyone.... auto rebooting issue... works fine for 3-4months after which it auto reboots.... i am planing to sue the company..... i had interacted with their higher up's.. they are not agreeing that it is a manufacturing defect... asking me to give the imei nos of other devices which are facing the similar problem... pl reach me at sujay.yadav1986@gmail.com, with imei no's of u r device.. let sue them
