I bought htc desire sv 2weeks back .... problem that i'm facing is even if i speak the call for 5 min the phone is getting extremely heat and i could n't place it at my ear any more..Is the problem wid my own set or totally wid dis model??

I bought HTC Desire SV 6 months back. Last month I started getting problem with the mobile set - the phone gets switched off automatically soon after switching it on. I submitted my set to HTC Service center at sector 47 C Chandigarh on 6th May. They said that I will get it back on 18th (12 days after) the period itself is too big.
I requested them several times to reduce the period as it is very difficult to live without mobile for 2 weeks. They said that they don't have the part to be replaced. They will start working on the part as soon as they will get them.
Now when I approached them, they are saying they still haven't got the part. So they need another week to return it back to me.
How come they still haven't got the part when I filed the complaint 2 weeks back!
I am totally helpless as it has been already half a month without my set and they are asking it for more time. This is not expected from company like HTC whose mobile you buy because of support values of these companies at the cost of extra bucks.

Always chose b/w HTC and Apple due to their quality.
1.The screen resolution should have been atleast 1280 by 720 or 960 by 540.
2.Horizontal lines on screen are clearly visible to naked eye(due to lack of pixels & resolution).
2.Should have supported 720p recording or atleast playback.
3.No panorama mode.
4.Makes a fool out of the 8MP camera & 4.3" screen due to above 3 disappointing features.
5.HTC sync is not detecting the phone(Tested on 3 computers running Win7).
6.A very low quality pair of headsets.(not in-ear)
My advice go for the older One S or One X.I for one do not care about battery life or need to have a removable battery.Don't even need Bluetooth.
Feels like I've been cheated.

I bought samsung galaxy grand three month before. but i am not satisfied.so i swap htc desire sv. its an incredible and pretty phone.
totally it is awesome dual sim phone.

i don't know when h t c will give us option of front facing camera on dual sim phones.
this is what makes others brand stand head and shoulder in the marker in dual sim phones to h t c.
if someone reading this who is directly associated to h t c plz acknowldge this suggesion and interduce some good dual sim cell phones with full fuctionalities.

This is the worst phone i have ever seen in my whole life. Full of bugs...I
feel like making 1000 pieces of this phone and sending them back to HTC.
I bought this HTC Desire SV phone 3 months back in India. Earlier
it was shutting down 1-2 times in a days but now it shut down almost 100 times in a day. And these service center guys want me to pay almost 40 euro for shipping and handling fees in order to send it for repairing even its in the warranty period. If so whats
the need of giving warranty. Is it just a way of making people fool ? If its not working good even its only 3-4 months old, Its HTC responsibility to provide me it working. I already paid sufficient amount in buying this phone and if this kind of problem is
happening even its not 3-4 months old why should I pay 40 euro more on repairing ?

I bought this phone 4 months back and I am facing the major issue. The phone gets switched off automatically 1 or 2 sec after you switch it on. If by God's grace, it does not get switch off, believe me if you try to make a call, it gets switched off. I found my friend facing the same problem with HTC desire SV. Be very careful if you are tempting to buy this.

Guys, please carefully buy this phone. It looks good first but trust me, it has too many flaws.
Old Android OS (No update information till now)
Cannot play 720p videos, leave alone 1080p
Very low internal space (Ridiculous)
Too costly in comparison to Samsung products with same specifications.
I am using this phone for 3 months now and really disappointed & frustrated with the outcome.
Please think before you buy, my advice, go for samsung products.

Nice phone from HTC in low price but here are some flaws
1) No front Camera
2) No dual sim active
3) missing some basic facilities like memo, file manager etc.
Shortfalls with other competitors are
1) RAM can be 1 GB
2) camera quality not so impressive as samsung
3) internal memory less
