Anonymous, 19 Jul 2013Desire v is closed u should be buy desire u.both sameDont buy HTC Desire models...I bought desire U mobile on 18th july from one of the best dealer...While buying they told that this is the fast moving mobile in market and no one is facing any pblm with it. But within 10 days of purchase mobile started to hang frequently and suddenly it got switched off. After that I tried to switch on the mobile many times, but mobile was dead. I took the mobile to HTC care center (One of the worst customer care center) and they are not ready to hear my pblm. They even don't know the meaning of customer service. Whatever costliest mobile u bought from HTC their reply will be "We wont work a minute after 6'o clock". That time I noticed that many HTC Desire models are facing similar type of problems and simply they are replacing it with new device. It is not like a service center and it is like a local market. Now I am fighting with that dealer who sold a worst mobile to me.

how to update / reinstall the OS using a computer ?
whether will get a JB update for this desire u ?

ankit, 24 Jul 2013its good but the thing is when i purchased it shop keepers ... moreman din't u check the box for the features...and u should go to consumer forum for misleading you....yes they are available but in chinese,taiwanese online sites...i got myself 2 cases from singapore costing 700rs each...request ur local sellers to get them china...if possible contact wholesellers who collect products from dockyard..(they told me that they have idea about each and every model launched but decreasing value of indian money stops them from buying cases of each and every phone...they only order cases for bestsellers).....u can urself take a look at alibaba.com for cases....

Ninu, 21 Jul 2013I wan 2 buy a new mbl bt i m litl bt cnfsd in htc dsir u an... morein the range of desire u there is only galaxy s duos...which is worhless device..bcoz i have both of e'm...s dous has major problem with backlight bleeding of lcd(almost every second galaxy s duos had this issue),touch issues,very sluggish although 756mb ram(compared to 512mb in desire u)...pros of desire u are super lcd screen(better than tft lcd),sense ui,battery,beats audio....now a topic arises that do u like modding,rooting and playing around with your device..if the answer is YESS!!! then go for samsung....coz u have nothing from the developers for desire u...i've tried hundreds methods to root this device from adb codings to one click rooting tools...nothing helps....so its ur choice...but if u can pay more go for xperia l or quattro(again if u like playng with internals of phone)...so make ur choice

There is no... morethere are cases available in ebay....but most of them come fit for desire v and x..so don't buy them although seller says it fill fit desire u(i've tried they don't fit perfectly)...there is imak case for htc desire u..whose price is about 1000rupees....i got those imak cases from singapore at 700 rupees....i've got 2 of them blue and black...

i bought new HTC desire T327/w in white colour on 9jul13 and on this last sunday 21jul13 my screen window was broken so there is any option to repair the sceen in waranty period as it my First htc handset and before experince this handset its screen was broken now if any solution you give to me i should be thankful to you.
