I am too disappointed with HTC u. I bought it 20 days ago but when I installed the apps from that moment it began creating problems. It gets hanged then it goes dead automatically. I sent error report to the company but no use. The net speed is too low. Hanging and goin dead are the major problems I have faced. Fed up .. so now wil see if the company could replace the handset or else I will have to sell it. So I wil recommend the readers to go for some other cel phones instead of HTC desire u.

I face a problem in downloading. When i download anything the other sim automatically lost connection.
if anyone has solution please reply.....

Its exactly what has happened to me too.....the HTC desire U that a brought a couple of months has gone dead...just tell me should i go back to croma as i brought from there or should i go a HTC service center directly.

htc desire u has good built quality and is rugged compared to J, has super lcd screen means blacks look good and sunlight visibility is better,8gb micro sd is free,beats audio(if u r a music lover),25gb dropbox....at a price 12.5k(current local market price i bought @ 13k)....
....my frnd bought J and he has issues with the touch(means touch sometimes responds at wrong places...like if he types A the phone types it as any othe letter)...
still J has somewhat an upperhand

dhiraj singh, 26 Jun 2013i bought on 11 jun but on 24 june it became dead now it is ... moremaximum chances are there that u should get a new handset because unlike samsung and nokia, htc parts are not manufactured in india so they get imported from taiwan.....so it will take time to get repaired and also you owned it for very less days so i think replacement will be possible....try to find the email of htc india's administration and tell them ur problem in an emotional manner(using this way i got replacement for my hp laptop...i contacted hp india's managing director)....morever if u ever own a samsung product forget about replacement even if 2 days old...my phone had screen issues and was 2 days old but they din't replace....
btw what is the exact problem with ur phone????

i bought on 11 jun but on 24 june it became dead now it is send to banglore for srvice. this is company resposiblity that lt provide a new phone also clear the fault so that no one will be decieved.Since i have used more than 50 sets but this type of problem is first for me. this is my first htc.

I installed some different call recording apps but when I use it, my voice is clearly record but incoming voice not clear , if anyone hv solution please share....

i'm one of the most early buyer of this phone....
but problem is that i can't find a case/cover for this phone...neither online nor in local market
found one in a taiwanese website but there is problem in its online payment even if i tried with 3 visa cards....then after a lot of hassle and after transferring cash....my case is shipped and waiting to receive it(at least 7 days)...
guys accessories for this phone are least available...

yes htc desire u supports GPS and regarding gaming clear the ram and run temple run 2 running smooth...but better games will hang though i'm a not a big fan of android games....my alienware lappy quenches my thirst of gaming...

I got HTC desire U last sunday and i would say that the phone meets my expectation. I wanted a dual sim card phone on an Android platform and probably which do not hangs..And this phone is serving all my purpose. i can scroll between screens, good camera quality with flash, important apps are pre-installed, awesome touch screen experience( better than samsung), faster internet surfing and yes the looks are good with a scratch proof rubber back.Most importantly a budget phone(INR.12,500).
Overall i recommend people to buy this phone to fulfill their above requirements.

just purchased and found to be surprise features,however it is requested to enhance the battery life it is quite low. rest is ok.
