bought 5 days ago.....liking this phone better than samsung galaxy s duos...i sold galaxy s duos recently after using it for a week.....htc has great built quality....no one beats sense UI....music quality is far better than galaxy s duos or neo l or xperia e.....lags a bit lesser than galaxy s duos.....morever galaxy s duos has horrible lcd quality with screen bleeding.....
people complaing about internal being 1 gb...lemme tell u....u get google chrome,tune in radio,polaris office,drop box,adobe reader....already installed...except polaris office i use all other apps frequently...morever u can move apps in ext sd card which u cant do in samsung galaxy s duos....inspite of having 768mb ram galaxy s duos is damn slower than this phone....also battery is 1650mAh compared to 1500mAh of samsung...
the led light on front(like blackberry) is great for me.....the metal bezel and rubber back is great....
people talking about xperia l and m.....lemme tell u that xperia l costs 17k in local market...xperia m dint release in india and even gets released will be priced above 15k....and i bought it for a whole 13k rupees...and now in the same shop its price is 12.5k....and will get cheaper by time....
difference with desire v is dual sim and super lcd panel.....for me its best buy...

hoho htc fones design is good but i bought it and internal memorysucks out of 4gb 0.96 gb is useravailable it lagsplz dont go by looks and non upgradable to 4.1 android better buy xperia L or xperia M these devices r good better battery its got stamina mod which enhances ur battery dual core 1gb ram and i sold my U yesterday bad device cant play better games waste

guys dont even plan for this dont go wid looks this device hangs in 4 gb internal memory 0.98 gb is available for user this may not let u instal more apps lags lags and lags better buy xperia M or l they have 1gb ram dualcore processor 4.1 jelly bean and desire u is not upgradable.......

it is very good
and best thing is that you are using htc phone ,that is come in 'A' class phone ,like apple or blackberry

Is it 2008 or 2009? 5MP camera, no secondary camera, 512 MB RAM, single core 1 GHz (?????) processor. (Yet 13K ? This phone is time traveling, atleast 3-4 years behind it time. This spec is not worth 5-6K INR.

Htc Desire U has been launched in India for INR 13499/-
I guess after a flop of HTC Desire V , Htc has launched same specs which is similar to HTC Desire V.

Mobile phones do not have AM radios because that's an old frequency, we now have FM radio so it would make mobile phones look dated. Just like in movies, when you see a mobile phone that's old, you also think the movie is dated.

I am dying for a HTC phone release in India. They are not releasing phones in India like Desire U, P, Q. Waiting for one of these. Please release more phones. No one makes an Android phone like they do.
