Even HTC Desire V is the most expensive dual sim phone in the market, I still bought it because it has the 4" nice vibrant screen, 1 GHz processor speed, good battery and reasonable camera. When I bought no warranty card and no where to register the warranty, told to keep the receipt. The big disappointment is the lagging of the phone when on line frequently, I compared using my another same 1 GHz sony xperia ray but it log in much more faster and will not hang there. My regret off buying this phone and it will be my first and last HTC phone.

Dear Readers and HTC Users/Android Users in specific, kindly let me know how the apps can be closed? I am not able to close them, they remain in the background even after I exit them; they show up in the Status Launch Curtain which also features a Quick Settings menu. Moreover, where has the nine-point pattern lock gone? A ring now appears instead of that.

Just received my HTC Desire V. It has 0,91GB available space from internal storage and using smart monitor app, it tells me I have 400mb free space left after installing a load of heavy apps. This is WAYYYY better than the original Desire!

Absolutely wonderful phone. The performance is not bad, battery life is pretty decent. Apps don't drain much battery, and music playback is awesome. Very impressive phone overall, espescially with ICS and Sense 4.0 imbued into the device.

Andy Santosa, 05 Aug 2012Jeffrey, noted with your opinions. are you sure with that ?... moreAndy, I'm absolutely sure. I got it in Jakarta as well. I have no regrets so far. Your mileage may vary depending on your usage, of course. For example, I don't talk more than 5 mins at a time, I travel to other countries quite often so I need dual SIM, I do use data a lot, I use a lot of apps but I don't play games. I believe if you use the Desire V mainly as a voice and data communication device, you should be happy with it. ICS is great too.

And for others who want dual SIM active: No Android ICS phones that I know of have it, OK? So go buy a phone made in 2008 like Samsung D980 if you want dual SIM active, and let me know how many apps you can run on it.
