I've ben looking for gsm-cdma dual on phone and it's found in htc desire vc. indeed it's a low-end phone and we can't expect to much...yet it's still considered powerful for its price range. I don't count so much on gsm data feature coz cdma data connection (EVDO) has given a great deal in internet business. but my question is, does the phone support hotspots tethering, then other lacks of the device won't matter anymore...thanks guys

One thing very important is missing in the desire V series and that is the secondary camera. I wish they will soon release new model with the secondary camera.

I've using this phone for several days, and i think the battery was great! 24 hrs, maybe more.
but the downside, it doesn't support HSDPA, just GPRS
                          but works great with EVDO

Also, dual on phone GSM-CDMA consume double the battery power.

in conclusion, "dual on android phone" will of course drain the battery in no time, and YES its normal.
