* only cortex A5 cpu no cortex A9 cpu (some games need cortex a9)
* no adreno 205 gpu only adreno 203 gpu
* no dual sim
* not hot swepable micro sd card
* no sutter key for camera
* only 233 ppi density (so not much crispy in browsing)
* poor screen viewing angle
* no adobe flash
* no beats Audio head phone in the box (have to buy separatly and it will cost around $10 or 550 INR) *only hsdpa 7.2 mbps not 14.4mbps
* no on-the-go support (otg) functionality
* no Dvix-Xvid support out of the box
* only 5 mp camera
* no document editor out of the box (have to pay for install separatly )
* no dedicated mic for active noice cancellation
* no HDMI port for tv oupput
* only 4gb internal memory in which only 1gb is for user avilable
* no 1080p@30fps video playback (not confirmed)
* no NFC
Very-Sorry for any mistake if i did .
So guys think before buy.
I think it must cost around 15000-15500 INR or $272- $282.
I will suggest xperia u, go ,j and samsung galaxy ace 2, galaxy s in this price tag.
I have to say that Sony is giving way batter specs then htc in the same price tag.
I am neither sony fanboy nor from japan but i must say that here in this price tag sony wins.

this phone wont be priced more than 20k. (Indian market) So right now, this is a very good option. Sure you can choose some other brands like Samsung which comes with good performance but lower build quality. Choice is ours.

HTC desire x as 720p HD video recording and video play back .Don't believe others its a super phone go for it..and main thing battery back up is excellent and 768 RAM.
It is better than Sony u,solo,go,p,s,and
samsung galaxy ace plus,galaxy s- advance,galaxy- 2.
What is the main thing u want in smartphone is good battery backup that is there in desire x but Sony battery backup is very very very bad .

phn have nice screen, nice camera , gud amount of ram, look stylish, sense 4.0 , dual core a5 chip. And for who r compairng 2010 phn to this one
only drawback 420p.

There seems to be incorrect information regarding. Since even the original desire has 720p recording option. Quite sure it will atleast have 720p video recording

All the Sony phone as 512 MB RAM and 2.3 android like model (Sony experia u,experia go,experia solo,experia p,experia s and u can not upgradeable to 4.0 android.
And main thing Sony is not Cuming with android 4.1 JB
SONY PHONES AS VERY VERY BAD BATTERY BACKUP, SOFTWARE ISSUES,HANGING LOT MORE
But desire x as 768 MB RAM and 4.0 ICS and upgradeable to 4.1 JB WITH BEATS
AUDIO very good battery backup
HTC phones can upgradable to 4.1 JB android model like
