I think It will not to be more than 330$ because they said that it will be in amid range between one v and desire x > and i see the same specs phone for this is SONY XPERIA SOLA and it cost 270 $ and if htc want to make this phone is agood deal for this range the should sell it by this prices FROM 270 $ TO 300 $

* only 233 ppi density (so not much crispy in browsing)
* poor screen viewing angle
* no adobe flash
* no beats Audio head phone in the box (have to buy separatly and it will cost around $10 or 550INR)
* only hsdpa 7.2 mbps not 14.4 mbps
* no on-the-go support (otg) functionality
* no Dvix-Xvid support out of the box
* only 5 mp camera
* no document editor out of the box (have to pay for install separatly )
* no dedicated mic for active noice cancellation
* no HDMI port for tv oupput
* only 4gb internal memory in which only 1gb is for user avilable
* no 1080p@30fps video playback (not confirmed)
* no NFC

So guys think before buy.
I will suggest xperia u and samsung galaxy ace 2 in this price tag.

$362 without nfc... Still its better looking than my Xperia sola. But damn S4?? Youve got to be kidding me -____- if i were patient enough maybe i can get this phone...

But that depends, if Video-conference is a must for you then ACE 2 is for you. Otherwise, HTC is better.
HTC Desire X looks way too much sexier than ACE 2!! :P

The benchmarks aren't out yet. But it certainly is better than the S1s and S2s... I've seen Real Racing 2 (Google the game) running on this phone very smooth. That game is damn heavy! So you can expect it to perform like Mali-400.
GPU uses: Interface Effects of Andriod OS, Games, Photo/Video Editing on mobile, Flash Rendering on Web Browser and many more. For serious gaming, you need a good GPU. This phone should suffice if you are tight on your budget.
Having Older GPU won't affect official Updates from Google. Trust me, I've seen Adreno 200 run Android 4.1 nicely.
In terms of Services, both SONY and HTC are same...
but when it comes to updates, HTC is better. SONY gives Buggy updates more often which will make you visit their service centers more often.
Sola is an average mobile, but it has many problems.
Big problem is the Buggy software and still no ICS.
Desire X has more RAM and much better battery life than sola and that makes a BIG difference.
So in my opinion, No for SOLA and Yes for Desire X.

Ace 2 has a better video (720p, and Htc 480p) and has a secondary camera, but Htc has beats audio technology, faster processor (1 GHz dual-core, and Ace 2 800 GHz dual-core) and it's MUCH prettier! And Sense is prettier than TouchWiz to me, but that's only my opinion. If you ask me, I'd go for Htc.
