Things I hate about HTC phones:
    1. Sense UI. It's outdated. Feels like WM device and eat a lot of RAM. Android AOSP UI already very good.
    2. No microSD card + non replaceable batt. Even SGSIII hears the market demand and don't follow apple on this.
    3. Beats audio = higher price tag.

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2012Dual 1GHz sounds a little low to me, the Desire has 1GHz (n... moreDual core is much faster than single core, beside that, this cpu will have much modern architecture then Desire had, that means more speed.
Yes they are phones vith quad cpu-s, but not in this price range, below 300€.

this is my "Goldilocks" phone.. its just right for me. I always wanted a One X but its too big and too expensive. besides i dont need all that quad core mumbo jumbo. I love the one V but its too small for my gigantor hands. I hope they release this in the Philippines.

imperticus, 28 Aug 2012What happened to HTC's policy of less phone and more qualit... moreNope, One S is a higher tier device.

One S features a Gradient Blue or MAO Matte Black body, but this Desire X only has a plastic build body. One S using a larger and much more colorful AMOLED 4.3in qHD screen, while Desire X is using a 4in lower ppi WVGA LCD screen. One S is using a 1.5Ghz Krait dual core cpu[which is the speediest dual core cpu on earth right now], but the Desire X is rumored to have a ST-Erricson CPU.

              One S >> Desire X

imperticus, 28 Aug 2012What happened to HTC's policy of less phone and more qualit... moreIf you use the compare tool to Compare the HTC Desire X and the HTC One S, you can clearly see that the One S is a more advanced smartphone, better quality, better screen and better camera.

The Desire X is going to be a middle-class smartphone and not a highpowered-Smartphone unlike the One S

What happened to HTC's policy of less phone and more quality. This is very similar to the One S, which I would choose over this. Don't see the point of this phone.

Exactly what I expect in the 250 euros price range.

You're all stupid and complaining about spec. This is not a HIGH-END devices not even an UPPER-MID smartphone. At only around $350, what do you expect? A dual-core Snapdragon S4, with 8mp camera, 4.7" HD SuperLCD2?? Come on now. IF this thing come to the US, it's probably only cost $100/$50 with contract.

Dual 1GHz sounds a little low to me, the Desire has 1GHz (not dual) but other phones have higher maybe even quad. Megahertz myth though...
